Use the current minimum requirements on DIEATHLON’s Steam listing as a compatibility checklist, not a performance guarantee. Steam currently lists 64-bit Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 4 GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 570, DirectX 12, and 4 GB of free storage. The game is planned for December 10, 2026, is not yet available, and Steam warns that its specifications are provisional.
The current answer: a provisional minimum, not a frame-rate promise
DIEATHLON is listed on Steam as a single-player action/racing game from Long Void Games, published by Loopr Partners. The store page gives December 10, 2026 as the planned release date, but the game is not yet available in a final release build. That means nobody can use the current listing alone to promise a particular frame rate, resolution, or graphics preset.

For now, compare your computer with the minimum checklist below. A computer that falls below one named component is below Steam’s published baseline. A computer that meets every item has passed an early compatibility check, but it has not been proven to deliver smooth play. Steam has not published recommended requirements, a benchmark, a target frame rate, or a target resolution.
The listing itself says: “System requirements are provisional. Final specs will be confirmed closer to release.” You can verify the current page at Steam’s official DIEATHLON listing.

The figures in this table are the Steam listing’s provisional 2026 minimums. They can change before release, so check the store page again when the game becomes available.
Check your Windows edition and processor
1. Open the system information page
- Open Settings from the Windows Start menu.
- Select System, then About.
- Read System type. It should identify a 64-bit operating system and a 64-bit processor.
- Read the Processor line and copy the complete model name, including its number and any suffix such as “K,” “F,” “H,” or “U.”
Do not compare only the words “Core i5” or “Ryzen 5.” The number after the family name identifies a very different generation and performance level. Steam’s examples are specifically the Core i5-8600 and Ryzen 5 3600. A lower-numbered or much older chip is a warning that your computer may be below the baseline; the listing does not provide enough information to convert that warning into an expected frame rate.
2. Interpret laptop and prebuilt labels carefully
Laptop processors often carry letters such as U, H, or HS and can use less power than desktop models with similar names. A manufacturer may also advertise a computer as “Core i5” or “Ryzen 5” without showing the full model. Use the exact model from Settings > System > About rather than the marketing name on the case.

Check installed RAM
Use Task Manager for a second confirmation
- Right-click the taskbar and choose Task Manager.
- If the compact view appears, select More details.
- Open the Performance tab and select Memory.
- Record the total installed memory shown in the upper-right area.
Steam lists 4 GB RAM as the minimum. Windows may show less memory as available because the operating system and other applications are using it, so compare the installed total with the requirement. Close browsers, launchers, recording tools, and other background programs before testing a game, but do not treat freeing memory as a substitute for installed RAM.
Steam has not published a recommended memory amount for DIEATHLON. Therefore, the current listing cannot tell you how much headroom you will have above the minimum or whether a particular multitasking setup will be comfortable.
Identify the graphics card and DirectX 12 support
Find the GPU model in Windows
- Open Settings > System > Display.
- Scroll to Advanced display and open the display-adapter information, or open Device Manager and expand Display adapters.
- Write down every adapter listed. A laptop may show both an integrated GPU and a separate Nvidia or AMD GPU.
Compare the exact model with Steam’s GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 570 examples. “Nvidia GeForce” or “AMD Radeon” by itself is not enough: models within either family vary substantially. If Windows reports only a basic display adapter, install the correct graphics driver from the computer or GPU manufacturer before drawing conclusions; a generic driver can hide the actual model.

- Press Windows key + R, type
dxdiag, and press Enter. - On the System tab, read DirectX Version.
- Open the Display or Render tab for the active GPU and inspect the listed feature levels and driver details.
- Save the diagnostic information if you need to send it to a support technician.
The requirement is DirectX 12. The DirectX version shown by Windows describes the installed software environment, while feature-level and driver information helps establish what the GPU can actually expose to a game. A machine can have a current DirectX runtime while using hardware that is too old for a particular DirectX 12 feature set.

On a notebook, make sure you are checking the adapter that will run the game. Windows can list an integrated adapter first even when a dedicated GPU is installed. The listing does not state whether integrated graphics are supported, so an integrated-only system that lacks a model comparable to the named GPUs remains outside the published baseline.
Check the Steam installation drive
Find the drive that will hold the game
- Open Steam and go to Steam > Settings > Storage.
- Identify the library location where you would install DIEATHLON.
- In File Explorer, right-click that drive, choose Properties, and read the available free space.
Steam lists 4 GB of available storage. The free-space check must be made on the actual library drive, not merely on the Windows system drive. Keep additional headroom for the downloaded package, temporary installation files, patches, and future updates. The listing gives no separate download-size, update-size, or SSD requirement, so do not infer one from the 4 GB figure.
If Steam offers several library drives, verify the one selected for this title. A large secondary drive does not help if Steam is configured to install the game on a nearly full system partition.

- Installed RAM.
- 64-bit Windows support and free space on the intended Steam drive.
Do not rank the systems by an assumed frame rate. Steam publishes no benchmark, resolution, preset, or frame-rate target for DIEATHLON. A newer CPU paired with a weaker GPU, or a stronger GPU paired with a much older CPU, cannot be reduced to a reliable “percent faster” answer from the store page.
Likewise, matching one named model does not prove that every other part of the system is adequate. Thermal throttling, laptop power limits, driver problems, background load, and the eventual game build can all affect actual results, but none is quantified by the current listing.

Below the CPU baseline
Record the complete processor model and compare it again when Steam posts final specifications. Because the listing provides only two example CPUs and no benchmark, replacing a processor solely from the current page is difficult to justify without checking motherboard compatibility, memory type, power delivery, and the rest of the system. If the CPU is substantially older or is a low-power laptop part, treat the result as uncertain rather than expecting a specific frame rate.
Below the GPU baseline
A graphics card below the GTX 1060/RX 570 examples is the clearest warning for a gaming-focused upgrade, but the current page does not establish a required VRAM amount or a tested alternative. Check the card’s exact model, driver, power connectors, case clearance, and power-supply capacity before considering an upgrade. A card that technically supports DirectX 12 can still be below the performance level implied by Steam’s named examples.

Below the RAM or storage baseline
If installed memory is below the listed amount, adding compatible RAM may be more practical than changing the platform, provided the computer has an open slot and supports the module type. If storage is the only issue, choose a Steam library drive with sufficient free capacity and leave room for installation and updates. These steps address capacity; they do not establish a performance result.
Using a non-Windows or 32-bit setup
The published baseline is specifically 64-bit Windows 10. Steam’s current page does not provide an alternate operating-system requirement or a compatibility statement for translation layers, virtual machines, or remote streaming. Such configurations should be considered unconfirmed until the developer or Steam listing supplies details.
Driver and Windows checks before launch
After your hardware passes the checklist, reduce avoidable setup problems:

- Install the latest graphics driver offered for your exact Nvidia or AMD model, using the manufacturer’s official support channel.
- Re-run
dxdiagafter a driver change to confirm that the expected adapter and DirectX information appear. - On a laptop, connect the charger and select the manufacturer’s performance profile if the system provides one.
- Close unnecessary overlays, capture tools, and background applications during the first launch.
- Check the Steam library drive again immediately before installation, because free space can change after downloads or updates.
These are preparation steps, not additional DIEATHLON requirements. They cannot turn hardware below the published baseline into a tested configuration.
Why a definitive “yes” is not possible yet
The game has a planned release date rather than a released build, and its Steam page is explicitly provisional. The page does not include recommended specifications, a minimum or recommended resolution, graphics presets, benchmark results, supported feature-level details, or measured frame rates. Consequently, the most accurate answer today is conditional:
- All baseline items met: your PC matches Steam’s current minimum checklist, but smooth performance is not established.
- One or more items below baseline: your PC does not match the published minimum checklist, so compatibility is doubtful or unconfirmed.
- Different operating system or architecture: the Steam listing does not cover your configuration.
Revisit the official listing near release and after launch. Final specifications may replace the current examples, and only a released build or developer-published compatibility information can answer questions about real-world performance.
A printable pre-purchase checklist
- Open Settings > System > About and confirm 64-bit Windows and record the full CPU model.
- Open Task Manager > Performance > Memory and record installed RAM.
- Open Device Manager > Display adapters or Windows display settings and record the exact GPU model.
- Run
dxdiagand inspect DirectX and display feature information for the adapter that will run the game. - In Steam > Settings > Storage, identify the library drive and verify at least the listed free capacity with installation headroom.
- Compare the results with the current Steam minimum table, then check the listing again when final specifications are posted.
The Bottom Line
If your PC has 64-bit Windows 10, a Core i5-8600 or Ryzen 5 3600-class CPU, a GTX 1060 or RX 570-class GPU with DirectX 12 support, 4 GB RAM, and 4 GB of free Steam-library storage, it matches DIEATHLON’s current provisional minimum checklist. That is a compatibility baseline only; final requirements and actual performance remain unconfirmed until closer to the planned December 10, 2026 release.
