There is no single LG USA cashback eligibility check: “cashback” may mean issue-related LG store credit, MyLG Rewards points, or a limited-time purchase promotion. First identify the benefit, then check its rules; for a specific product issue, LG says to contact support for an eligibility review.
Does my LG product qualify for cashback?
It depends on which benefit you mean. LG’s US pages describe three distinct possibilities, and the checks are different:

These are not interchangeable. A product being made by LG does not by itself establish eligibility for a reward, and an offer for one model or retailer does not automatically cover another.

Start with the offer itself—not a general assumption that an LG product qualifies. LG’s promotions page says that “Pricing, offers, and eligibility may vary by location, product selection, and retailer.” Check the full terms for the country and seller involved.

- Find the exact offer. Use the offer page or promotion terms that match your purchase and location. Confirm that the offer was active when you bought the product.
- Match the full model number. Compare the model number on your receipt or product label with the models named in the offer. A product-family match may not be enough.
- Check the seller and purchase channel. Confirm that the retailer or channel qualifies under the terms.
- Check dates and deadlines. Match the purchase date to the offer period, then note any separate claim deadline.
- Review required proof and claim steps. Keep the receipt and submit any required claim through the method specified in the offer.
- Read return and cancellation rules. Some promotions can be forfeited if the purchase is canceled or returned.
LG’s TV and NFL Shop Reward Offer illustrates why each detail matters: it listed specific product combinations for different benefits and imposed a separate claim process. Under that particular offer, eligible purchasers could claim up to a $200 NFL Shop eGift Card for purchases made September 14 through October 4, 2026. The claim had to be filed within 30 days of purchase through the promotions claim portal, and a qualifying purchase could not be canceled or returned without risking forfeiture. Those dates and rules applied only to that offer; its stated purchase period has ended.

LG describes issue-related store credit as tied to return-authorization eligibility, with support reviewing the customer’s situation rather than a public self-service model lookup. LG USA’s Store Credit Program page says, “Any LG customer who is eligible for return authorization is also eligible to receive store credit.” Contact LG at 1-800-243-0000 or through LG.com and ask support to check your eligibility.
- Explain the product issue and ask whether your case qualifies for return authorization and store credit.
- If LG deems the report eligible, watch for a Service Credit Form sent by SMS.
- Submit the form for verification.
- After submission, LG says confirmation that qualifying credit is ready generally arrives by email within 24–48 hours, subject to verification.
This is LG Reward Points, not cash; the store credit can be spent only on LG.com.
How MyLG Rewards differs from cashback
MyLG Rewards is an account-based rewards program, not a cash payment for owning an LG product. LG states that 100 points equal $1 toward a future eligible purchase on LG.com. The program page says points typically become available 20–35 days after purchase, once the return period has passed, and expire five years after issue. These are program terms, so check the current MyLG Rewards page and your account for applicable details.
What to have ready before you ask
- Your country and retailer or purchase channel
- The product’s complete model number
- Your purchase date and receipt
- The offer page or program you believe applies
- Any claim confirmation or communications from LG
If you cannot identify a matching offer, or your details do not match its terms, do not assume eligibility from the brand or product category alone. For issue-related credit, LG support must check the case; for a purchase reward, the applicable offer terms govern.
