To get a reliable figure, open the exact listing, record its live offer details, obtain an exchange quote, and then verify the final payable amount and EMI disclosure before placing the order.
Flipkart’s catalogue and checkout are the final authority because prices, stock, exchange quotes, bank discounts and eligibility can change. Record the date and time you checked an offer, and do not treat a dated bank promotion as a permanent benefit.

What you need to check before comparing an iPhone price
Keep these details together before doing any calculation:
- The exact iPhone model and storage capacity.
- The seller named on the listing.
- The live selling price, including any visible coupon or instant-discount label.
- The exchange value or “Check price” result for your old phone.
- Any exchange bonus and the conditions attached to it.
- The bank, card type, tenure and minimum order value shown for no-cost EMI.

Find the exact Flipkart iPhone listing and capture its live offers
1. Confirm model, storage and seller
Search for the iPhone and open the individual product page rather than relying on a search-result card. Confirm the model name, storage capacity, colour if it affects stock, seller and delivery location. Flipkart’s Apple catalogue displays current models, prices and exchange discounts, but those values are time-sensitive.
2. Record every badge and disclosure
Note the selling price and take a written record or screenshot of badges such as Exchange, bank discount, cashback, instant discount or no-cost EMI. 3. Check the cart, not just the product page

How to check your old iPhone’s exchange value
1. Start the exchange flow
- On the exact iPhone listing, select Exchange or Check price.
- Choose the brand and model of the phone you will hand over.
- Select the storage or variant when Flipkart asks for it.
- Answer each condition question accurately, including questions about display damage, body damage, functionality, locks and account status.
- Review the estimated exchange value and the conditions attached to the quote.
Flipkart says the estimated exchange value is applied upfront to the new purchase. Treat it as a provisional figure until the old phone passes the doorstep inspection.
2. Understand the inspection and OTP approval
Flipkart’s 2025 exchange announcement describes an app-led process using submitted device details and a 10-step diagnostic assessment. At delivery, an exchange expert checks the phone’s actual condition. The final value is confirmed only after you approve the exchange with an OTP. If the phone does not match the answers you submitted, the value can be revised or the exchange can be refused.
Flipkart’s exchange guidance describes PREXO offers as condition- and product-dependent and includes phones among eligible devices. “Up to” wording is not a promise that every device will receive the maximum amount.

3. Prepare the phone before the delivery visit
- Back up photos, messages, contacts and authenticator data.
- Sign out of Apple ID and other accounts, then disable activation or device locks as instructed.
- Remove your SIM and eSIM where applicable.
- Charge the phone so the expert can complete the diagnostic checks.
- Clean the device and make damage visible rather than trying to conceal it.
- Keep the original box, cable or invoice only if the specific exchange instructions request them; do not assume accessories are required.

Why the displayed exchange amount can change
The online quote is based on the model and the condition answers you provide. The delivery inspection tests whether those answers describe the physical device. Scratches, cracks, non-working buttons, camera or speaker faults, liquid damage, a different storage variant, a locked account or a phone that cannot complete diagnostics can all affect acceptance and value.
Flipkart’s 2025 smartphone-exchange announcement says the value can reach up to 50% depending on the old device’s condition. That is a ceiling tied to the applicable product and assessment, not a standard percentage for every iPhone. The final amount is the one confirmed after inspection and OTP approval.
Calculate the real price after exchange and offers
Use this calculation only with amounts that are displayed for your selected model, seller and payment method:
Net price before financing charges = selling price − accepted exchange value − applicable exchange bonus − eligible instant discount − eligible cashback.

Worked example using a displayed maximum
A Flipkart catalogue listing displayed a maximum exchange discount of ₹51,750 for an iPhone 15 in 2026. That figure was a live catalogue value to verify at checkout, not a guaranteed payment for every old phone. If the same listing shows a selling price of ₹X and the inspection accepts ₹Y, the exchange-adjusted price is ₹X − ₹Y. Add a bonus only if the offer panel confirms that your phone and payment method qualify. Replace X and Y with the amounts actually shown for your order; do not substitute the ₹51,750 maximum for your own accepted value.
How no-cost EMI works on Flipkart
“No-cost” refers to the interest subsidy, not every possible charge
Flipkart describes no-cost EMI as available only on select products and subject to terms. Flipkart Finance explains that, in a no-cost EMI loan, the product partner bears the interest amount as an upfront discount. The lender can still levy charges under its loan policy, such as a processing fee, applicable taxes or foreclosure charges. Read the repayment schedule and total payable amount rather than judging the offer by the monthly instalment alone.
Cards and financing methods named by Flipkart
Flipkart’s payment overview identifies Axis, HDFC, SBI and ICICI among debit-card EMI partners. This does not mean every card issued by those banks, every iPhone or every tenure qualifies. The eligible instrument is the one that the checkout screen accepts for the selected SKU and order value.

Check eligibility at checkout
- Choose the iPhone variant and seller, then add it to the cart.
- Select your exchange option, if any, and confirm the resulting price.
- Open the EMI or financing section at payment.
- Select the card issuer or financing method shown as eligible.
- Check the available tenure, minimum order value, monthly instalment, total repayment, processing fee, taxes and any other charge.
- Verify that the discount is applied in the order summary before entering payment credentials.
- Save the final summary, including the offer validity date and terms.
If the card, tenure or SKU is not listed as eligible, assume the no-cost EMI benefit does not apply. Do not rely on a general bank advertisement when the checkout disclosure gives a different result.
How issuer-specific offers change the result
ICICI example: a dated offer, not a standing entitlement
An ICICI iPhone offer cited an exchange bonus of up to ₹6,000 and specified eligible models, card exclusions, a validity window and exchange conditions. The cited period ended on 2026-09-26. Treat that promotion as historical unless a current replacement offer is displayed for your order. The “up to” amount also depends on the stated model and exchange requirements.
Axis example: tenure and channel restrictions
Axis Bank’s cited Apple-reseller terms made a discount and six-month no-cost EMI dependent on the card, sales channel, SKU and applicable offer period. The terms direct customers to the platform disclosure for final amounts. A six-month tenure in those 2026 terms should not be presented as a universal Flipkart entitlement.

Compare two offers by total cost, not monthly EMI
When two listings or payment methods appear similar, compare them using the same old phone and the same storage variant.

A lower monthly instalment can still produce a higher total cost if the tenure is longer or fees are added. Compare the total repayment and the immediate amount due.
Common failure points and what to do
The quote falls at delivery
Ask the exchange expert to show the condition issue identified by the diagnostic process. If the revised amount no longer suits you, do not approve the OTP exchange. Confirm the order’s available cancellation or alternative-payment path before surrendering the old phone.
The exchange option disappears
Recheck the model, storage, seller and delivery PIN code. Exchange eligibility is product- and condition-dependent, so changing the seller or variant can change the option.
The bank discount is missing
Check the exact card network, issuer, minimum order value, tenure and offer period. Remove conflicting coupons or payment methods only if the terms permit it, then refresh the payment summary. If the discount still does not appear, do not assume it will be credited later.

The EMI option is available but not “no-cost”
Read the repayment breakdown. The selected tenure may not qualify, or the displayed amount may include a processing fee or tax. Choose only a method whose checkout summary explicitly labels the applicable interest subsidy and shows the resulting total.
The old phone contains personal data
Stop the exchange preparation and complete a backup, account sign-out and factory reset according to Apple’s instructions. A reset does not replace the need to disable activation locks before handover.
Offer figures and dates you should qualify
- ₹51,750: maximum exchange discount displayed for an iPhone 15 listing in Flipkart’s 2026 live catalogue; verify the current amount at checkout.
- Up to 50%: exchange value described in Flipkart’s 2025 smartphone-exchange announcement, dependent on old-device condition.
- Six months: no-cost EMI tenure described in the cited 2026 Axis Bank Apple-reseller terms, subject to card, channel, SKU and offer-period conditions.
- Up to ₹6,000: exchange bonus in the cited ICICI iPhone offer; its stated validity ended on 2026-09-26, so it is historical unless a current offer replaces it.
Final checkout checklist
- Confirm the exact iPhone model, storage, seller and live selling price.
- Record the visible exchange, bank and EMI terms and the date checked.
- Enter the old phone’s correct model and condition details.
- Review the provisional exchange value and prepare the phone for inspection.
- At delivery, inspect the expert’s result before approving the OTP.
- Recalculate using the accepted exchange value, not the original estimate.
