News On AIR reports that the income-limit condition will be relaxed for students with disabilities, daughters of martyrs and daughters from destitute families. NDTV separately reports that these groups may qualify without meeting the merit requirement. Those accounts do not describe identical waivers, so do not assume an exception removes every eligibility condition; ask the department or institution which rules still apply to your circumstances. - Check the UP Higher Education Department’s current notification. Look for a government notice or guideline naming the Rani Lakshmibai Scooty Yojana, its effective dates, eligibility rules and application or nomination process.
- Ask your university or college administration. Confirm whether it is collecting applications or nominations, the relevant deadline, and whether your institution and graduating cohort are covered.
- Use only a verified official channel. Follow a portal or form linked from the department or institution’s official communication. Do not submit identity, bank or other personal details to a site merely because it describes the scheme.
- Get the document list from that channel. The final guideline or institution notice should specify what to submit, how documents must be provided, and whether originals or copies are required.
A private scheme-information page lists Aadhaar, residence proof, marksheets, college admission proof, a photograph, bank details and a mobile number, and describes a generic online process. It identifies itself as private, so neither its checklist nor its proposed route is an authoritative requirement. Career Power.

News On AIR reports a scooter with insurance, registration, a helmet, essential accessories and four litres of petrol. NDTV and Hindustan Times report five litres instead; the fuel quantity is unresolved in the coverage and should be checked against the formal guideline.
