Facebook’s Apps and Websites settings show services connected through Facebook Login. Review that list to find old or unfamiliar connections, but first make sure you can still sign in to any service you plan to keep using. Removing a login connection is separate from reviewing activity businesses send to Meta.
What Facebook’s connected-apps list shows
Apps and Websites is the place to review services that use Facebook Login. It is different from Meta’s activity log and its Off-Facebook Activity controls: those tools concern activity businesses and organizations send to Meta, including through tools such as Facebook Pixel or Facebook Login. Meta’s account information and settings resources point users to Facebook settings; the exact current button labels and placement can vary.

How to find Apps and Websites
- Open Facebook’s settings. In the Facebook mobile app, a third-party walkthrough published September 22, 2024, gives this route: Menu → Settings → Apps and Websites. Treat it as orientation rather than a guaranteed current path; interface labels and positions can change. The walkthrough is secondary guidance.
- Search if the route is missing. Use Facebook settings search for “Apps and Websites,” or look in the account information or settings area. The setting is not guaranteed to appear in the same location for every interface or region.
- Review the listed services. Identify what you recognize, still use, and trust. For each service you may remove, check whether Facebook is its only sign-in method.
How to decide which connections to remove
Use these questions for each entry; they are practical review prompts, not a formal security score:

- Do you still use the service? If not, removing an obsolete connection may be appropriate.
- Do you recognize and trust it? If you do not recognize an entry, investigate it and consider disconnecting it.
- Is Facebook your only way to sign in? If you still need the service, visit that service first and add or confirm another sign-in method before disconnecting Facebook Login.
- Are you addressing a login or activity sharing? Removing a Facebook Login connection and managing activity sent to Meta are separate tasks.
How to disconnect a service safely
Once you have decided an entry is no longer needed—or have confirmed another way to access the account—select the service in Apps and Websites and use the removal or disconnect option shown in your Facebook settings. Exact controls can vary; current Meta results do not establish one button-by-button flow for every account.
#1 Best Overall
If you rely on that service, verify the alternate sign-in works before disconnecting. Meta says that permanently deleting a Facebook account ends Facebook Login for other apps and websites registered with it, and you may need to contact those services to regain access. Meta’s Facebook deletion guidance explains that consequence; it is a reason to plan account access before unlinking, not a claim that removing one app has the same effect as deleting Facebook.
What disconnecting does—and does not—change
Disconnecting a login connection should not be treated as deleting information a third-party service already received or retained. The available Meta guidance does not establish what an individual service keeps after removal. To request deletion of data held by that service, use its privacy or account controls or contact its developer.

Off-Facebook Activity is a separate control
Meta describes separate ways to review, clear, or disconnect future activity that businesses and organizations send to it. Clearing that activity is not the same as disconnecting a Facebook Login connection. In its announcement published August 20, 2019, Meta said: “If you clear your history, we’ll remove your identifying information from the data that apps and websites choose to send us.” That statement concerns activity sent to Meta; it does not promise deletion of data held by a third party or describe the effect of removing a login connection. Meta’s Off-Facebook Activity announcement describes the feature.

Where Accounts Center fits
Accounts Center brings together connected experiences and settings across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Meta accounts. That does not mean Apps and Websites is located there in every version or geography. Meta notes that WhatsApp in Accounts Center is not available everywhere, so use Facebook’s own settings search or account settings area if you cannot find the connected-apps list. Meta’s help resources cover Accounts Center and account settings.
