To change where a connected phone or tablet sits relative to a Galaxy Book, open Samsung Settings → Connected devices → Multi Control, drag its image to match its physical position, then select Apply. If you are connecting a Galaxy phone directly to a Galaxy Tab without a Galaxy Book, set the phone’s position in the tablet’s Multi Control settings instead.
Change the device order from a Galaxy Book

Turn on Multi Control on the Galaxy Book and the connected Galaxy phone or tablet. On the Galaxy Book, open Samsung Settings → Connected devices → Multi Control. On the phone or tablet, open Settings → Connected devices → Multi Control. Samsung notes that menus can differ by device. Samsung’s connected-experience instructions and Galaxy Book support describe the setup.

On the Galaxy Book, return to Samsung Settings → Connected devices → Multi Control.

Drag the image of the connected phone or tablet to the left, right, top, or bottom of the Galaxy Book in the on-screen layout, choosing the side where the device is physically placed.

Select Apply to save the arrangement.

Move the Galaxy Book’s mouse or trackpad pointer past the screen edge toward the other device to use the arrangement. Samsung describes the pointer appearing on the other screen as the connection cue.
Set a phone’s position from a Galaxy Tab
This is a separate workflow for a Galaxy Tab connected directly to a phone without a Galaxy Book; it uses a phone-location setting rather than the Galaxy Book’s draggable layout.

Choose Connect phone → Phone location, then select Right, Left, Top, or Bottom to match the phone’s physical position. Samsung’s Galaxy S25 multi-device experience instructions describe this location setting.

Samsung says a pointing device is needed for phone-to-tablet Multi Control without a Galaxy Book. Its examples include a keyboard cover or a mouse connected through USB-C. See Samsung’s US support instructions.

For the connected-experience setup described by Samsung in the US, the devices need Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled and must be signed into the same Samsung account. Samsung also recommends updating PC apps through Microsoft Store. Samsung’s US connected-experience guidance covers these connection conditions.

Requirements can vary by region and device. For example, Samsung Brazil’s guidance lists Galaxy Book models released from 2021, One UI 5.1 or later on Galaxy phones and tablets, Bluetooth enabled, the same Samsung account, and the same Wi-Fi network; it recommends Wi-Fi 5 GHz. Those are regional support details, not a universal compatibility list. Samsung Brazil’s Multi Control guidance.

Confirm the exact device model and software version, and check Samsung’s current instructions for your region. Samsung’s documents describe supported workflows but do not establish a complete current list of compatible models.

Verify that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled and that the devices use the same Samsung account; check any additional network or software requirements Samsung lists for your specific devices.

If the option is still missing, consult Samsung’s support guidance for the model and region rather than assuming every Galaxy phone, tablet, or Book supports Multi Control.
