To capture a Hindi webpage with PagePeeker, request the exact Hindi page you want and inspect the resulting image. PagePeeker documents capture sizing, cropping, full-page options and wait settings, but its reviewed documentation does not establish a Hindi-specific language setting or font-loading control. A screenshot is only correct if the page shows the intended Hindi content and the Devanagari text is visibly rendered properly.
1. Start with the exact Hindi page
Use the URL for the language version you intend to capture. Some sites select language through a URL, an on-page control or a user session. PagePeeker’s reviewed information does not describe a universal way to select Hindi, so establish the correct page state before requesting the screenshot. Check the source page itself first: if it displays the wrong language or incomplete content in a browser, the screenshot may reflect that same state.

PagePeeker describes automatic screenshot creation and premium customization on its homepage. Its marketing statements about speed or accuracy are vendor claims, not independently verified results.
2. Choose a capture mode and configure the available controls
Choose a viewport capture when you need a specific visible portion of the page; choose full-page capture when the complete page matters. PagePeeker says full-page screenshots are a premium feature. Availability and settings depend on the account or service configuration, so confirm what your account supports.
#1 Best Overall
PagePeeker’s full-page documentation lists controls for page width and maximum capture height, image compression, thumbnail sizing, overlay text such as branding or the screenshot date, and wait settings. It does not document a dedicated Devanagari rendering control. Its wait options can give a page more time to load; they do not guarantee that Hindi language selection, fonts or text shaping will be corrected.
See PagePeeker’s full-page capture documentation for its current description of these options.

3. Inspect the returned image for Devanagari text
Open the image itself rather than relying only on the page title or a successful API response. Check representative Hindi text for missing glyphs, visibly separated or broken conjuncts, and vowel signs that are misplaced or absent. These are useful visual checks because Devanagari writing includes consonant clusters and combining vowel signs. The W3C’s Devanagari Layout Requirements, a Group Draft Note dated 09 July 2024, describes these script and layout features and identifies the document as work in progress; it does not evaluate PagePeeker or certify a capture.

- The screenshot shows the wrong language: Recheck the source page and its language-specific URL or page controls. The reviewed PagePeeker material does not establish a request parameter that selects Hindi.
- Text or page sections are missing: Confirm the source page has finished loading, then check whether your account offers a wait setting for the capture. A longer wait may help with incomplete loading, but it is not a language or font fix.
- Conjuncts or vowel signs look wrong: Compare the image with the live page. If the live page is already malformed, investigate the source page state; if only the captured image differs, PagePeeker’s reviewed documentation does not identify a Hindi-specific remedy.
- The whole page is cut off: Check whether full-page capture is available for your account and whether the configured width and maximum height cover the content you need.
- Usage is higher than expected: Check how your integration counts API calls, including cached-thumbnail display and readiness checks; see the usage notes below.
5. Account for caching and API-call usage
PagePeeker’s FAQ defines a render as the actual creation of a thumbnail image. It says a created thumbnail is cached on PagePeeker’s servers for several days, and that displaying an existing thumbnail, requesting an uncached render, checking availability and other exposed API calls increase API-call usage. The FAQ also says monthly quota does not roll over and describes pay-as-you-go for premium accounts exceeding five million API calls monthly, subject to contacting PagePeeker. These account and quota terms can change, so confirm them with the provider before forecasting ongoing usage. See the PagePeeker FAQ.

Or skip the browser setup
If you need a screenshot workflow with explicit cleanup controls, ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. One GET request takes a URL and returns an image or PDF. Use this cURL example, replacing the URL with the Hindi page you want to capture:
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options. Cookie and consent banners, newsletter popups and chat widgets are removed before capture; those steps can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads and cache hits are not billed, and the response identifies the page verdict and billing status in headers. An MCP server provides screenshot tools for AI agents, including Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients. The Free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does PagePeeker have a Hindi mode?
The PagePeeker documentation reviewed for this guide does not establish a Hindi-specific mode or request-language setting.
Will an Accept-Language header guarantee correct Hindi text?
No such guarantee is established here. Screenshots.Dev documents an accept_language parameter, but that is a feature of that separate provider, not evidence of a PagePeeker setting or proof that a language header alone ensures correctly shaped Devanagari text.
