Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsWait until the content you need has appeared, then capture only as much as has actually loaded. In Nimbus Screenshot, choose Entire page for a complete page that is ready to capture; use Visible part of page or Selected area if the connection is slow and you need only what is already on screen. Save the screenshot locally to avoid a separate upload. A screenshot tool cannot capture page content your browser has not received.
Choose a capture that matches what has loaded
Nimbus documents several capture modes, including whole-page and partial-page screenshots. The right choice on a slow connection depends on whether the portion you need has finished loading—not just on how long the page is.

- Entire page: Use this when the full page matters and its content has loaded sufficiently. Nimbus describes this as its full-page capture mode. Nimbus Capture’s full-page tutorial
- Visible part of page: Use this for the content currently displayed in the browser when waiting for the rest of the page would take too long.
- Selected area: Use this to capture a specific loaded portion of the page, rather than including incomplete sections elsewhere.
If a spinner is still running, an image is broken, or an area is blank, that content may not have arrived. Capturing the whole page does not make the browser retrieve missing content.

Capture and save with Nimbus
- Open the target page and wait for the material you need. On a slow connection, check for the exact text or image you want in the screenshot. You do not necessarily need to wait for unrelated parts of the page if a partial capture will do.
- Open Nimbus Screenshot and choose a mode. Select Entire page for a loaded long page, or choose Visible part of page or Selected area for content already present. Nimbus’s tutorial describes an edit step after capture, followed by options to save or share. See Nimbus’s documented workflow.
- Save the image to your device. Choose a local save option, such as JPG or PNG where available, instead of uploading it if your connection is unreliable. Local saving avoids a separate upload; it does not make the original page load faster. Nimbus’s Mozilla Add-ons listing describes local JPG/PNG saving and PDF output, but that listing was last updated July 31, 2020, so check your installed extension for current options. Mozilla Add-ons: Nimbus Screenshot
- Share only if you need to. Uploading or sharing the result is a separate network step. If the connection is slow, keep the local copy and share it later.
When you need the page offline later
A screenshot preserves an image of the page, not a working copy of its links or interactive features. If you want to read the page in a browser after going offline, save it in Chrome while you are still connected. Google says, “You must be online to save a page”; once saved, the page can be opened from a local file. Google Chrome Help: Read pages later & offline

Fix slow loads and timeouts before capturing
A screenshot extension cannot fix a site or network timeout. Chrome notes that ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT can happen when the connection is too slow or the site is busy. Google Chrome Help: Fix connection and loading errors
- The target page is blank or incomplete: Wait for the needed material, then capture a visible or selected area. If the page does not recover, reload when possible.
- The page reports a connection timeout: Check whether other sites load. If they do, the target site may be busy; try again later. If they do not, check your connection before retrying.
- The browser is sluggish: Pause large downloads and close unnecessary tabs, apps, or extensions that may be using system resources, then retry.
- The screenshot is missing content: The content may not have loaded before capture. Wait for the specific text or image, or use a partial capture that excludes unfinished sections.
- Capture succeeds but sharing fails: Keep the local screenshot and upload it when the connection is better; local saving and online sharing are separate steps.
Or skip the browser setup
If you need repeatable captures in code rather than a browser extension, ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. One GET request returns a screenshot or PDF. This example saves a WebP capture of the requested page; see the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for parameters and setup.
