Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteWindows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallTo include a page’s footer in FireShot, choose Capture entire Page—not Capture visible Area—then inspect the bottom of the saved file. If the footer is still missing, check whether the page content loads on scroll or the page uses its own scrolling panel, and retry with the relevant capture mode.
Choose the FireShot capture mode that includes the footer
FireShot offers different capture scopes. Capture entire Page is intended to include off-screen content; Capture visible Area captures only what is currently in the browser viewport. FireShot’s manual describes the entire-page option as capturing areas you cannot see without scrolling (FireShot Pro manual).

| Mode | What it captures | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
| Capture entire Page | The webpage, including content below the viewport | You need the document’s footer and other off-screen content |
| Capture visible Area | The currently visible browser area | You only need the current viewport; it will not capture a footer below it |
| Selection or element capture | A selected region or webpage element; FireShot listings also describe scrolling-selection capture | You need a particular region, especially one that scrolls inside the page |
Available commands and formats can differ by browser listing, edition, and installed version. FireShot’s Chrome and Firefox listings describe capture to formats including PDF, PNG, and JPEG; check the options shown in your own installation (Chrome Web Store listing).
Capture the full page and check the result
- Open the webpage and wait for its visible content to finish loading. If lower sections appear only as you scroll, scroll far enough for the needed content to load before capturing. This is a practical precaution for dynamic pages, not a guaranteed fix.
- Open FireShot from the browser toolbar or its menu.
- Select Capture entire Page or the equivalent entire-page command in your installed version. Avoid Capture visible Area when you need off-screen content.
- Save the capture in a format offered by your version, such as PDF, PNG, or JPEG.
- Open the saved file and inspect its bottom edge or final PDF page to confirm the footer is present.
If the footer is still missing
Check whether the main page or an inner panel scrolls
Some pages scroll within a distinct panel while the document itself stays still. In that case, try FireShot’s selection, element, or scrolling-selection capture on the panel rather than assuming the whole document is the target. The extension listings describe these capabilities, but do not establish that they work for every site or browser (Chrome Web Store listing; Firefox Add-ons listing).

Allow scroll-triggered content to appear
A page may reveal or load sections as you move down it. Scroll through the content you need, wait for it to appear, and then retry the entire-page capture. FireShot’s release history mentions support and fixes for infinite pages and related long-page behavior; this workflow is a reasonable check, not a vendor-guaranteed repair (FireShot release history).
Account for unusually long pages
Very tall captures may behave differently from short pages. FireShot’s release history documents fixes involving screenshots taller than 10,000 pixels, so verify long captures rather than assuming the footer is included simply because the capture completed (FireShot release history).

Escalate a repeatable clipping problem
FireShot’s support forum includes reports of bottom content being cut off, but those individual cases do not establish one universal cause or fix. If a retry still fails, record the page URL, browser and version, FireShot version, and capture mode, then post in the FireShot support forum. In an incomplete-capture case, a forum administrator asked the user to provide the URL (support forum).

Check which FireShot version you have
Version information can vary by browser and distribution channel. The Chrome Web Store listing reported FireShot version 2.1.4.18 and an update date of 24 May 2026; the Firefox listing included a note about rollout of a newer v.2 build. Check the store or installer you actually use rather than assuming the listings match (Chrome Web Store listing; Firefox Add-ons listing).
