FireShot: multiple capture areas and PDF text and links
FireShot describes full-page, visible-area, selected-area, and batch or all-tab capture. Its official product information says PDF exports can include direct links and searchable text, alongside image formats, editing, annotations, and page information. Those capabilities make it worth considering when you need more than a flat image of a page.

GoFullPage: a documented history of PDF layout work
GoFullPage’s Chrome Web Store changelog records PDF export, landscape layout, smart page splitting intended to avoid cutting text lines, and later PDF export fixes. It also records compatibility and capture changes, including a 24 September 2026 entry for Chromium 153. This history shows that PDF handling has been part of the product’s development; it does not guarantee that a particular page will export cleanly.

OpenCapture: local-first and open source
OpenCapture’s project repository describes an AGPL-3.0-or-later extension for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. It documents full-page, viewport, and region capture, crop and annotation tools, and PNG or PDF export through a local capture pipeline. The project says capture, annotation, and export work offline without an account; an optional account is relevant to its paid watermark tool.

Try a representative page before choosing
- Pick a long page similar to the pages you actually need to archive, including any sticky headers, lazy-loaded images, or interactive content that matters.
