Capture the whole webpage in Chrome
- Open the webpage you want to capture in Chrome.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+I to open DevTools.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+P to open the DevTools Command Menu. This is the documented Windows/Linux shortcut. Chrome DevTools Command Menu documentation.
- Type screenshot in the menu.
- Select Capture full size screenshot. Chrome captures the full webpage, including content outside the current viewport. The image is typically saved to your downloads location.
Choose the full-size command rather than a viewport or area capture when you need the entire scrolling page. DevTools places full-size capture in its device-mode screenshot menu; the exact arrangement or labels can change between Chrome updates. Chrome DevTools device mode documentation.

If “Capture full size screenshot” does not appear
- Make sure DevTools is open before pressing Ctrl+Shift+P; the shortcut opens the DevTools Command Menu, not a Windows screenshot menu.
- Search for screenshot in the Command Menu and inspect the available capture commands. Confirm that you are choosing the full-size option, not a viewport or area option.
- If the command layout differs, look in DevTools’ device-mode screenshot menu. Chrome’s interface can change, so the exact arrangement may vary by version.
- If you only need what is currently visible, use Snipping Tool instead. It captures screen content, not the entire page that extends below the fold.
