Cancel TIDAL through whoever bills you: use account.tidal.com for direct TIDAL billing, Apple’s subscription settings for Apple billing, or Google Play’s subscription settings for Google Play billing. Check your TIDAL account’s Subscription and Payment sections first if you are unsure which route applies.
Find out who bills your TIDAL subscription
Sign in to your TIDAL account and check Subscription for your plan and renewal date, then check Payment for the payment method and billing history. TIDAL says its Payments tab may also show whether Apple or Google manages payment. You can also check Apple subscriptions in your device’s Settings or Google subscriptions in the Play Store. TIDAL’s subscription-management guide and refund FAQ describe these checks.

Cancel based on your billing provider
If TIDAL bills you directly
- Go to account.tidal.com and sign in with the TIDAL account used for the subscription.
- Open Subscription, select Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
If you subscribed through Apple
Cancel using Apple’s subscription controls on your device or Apple account. If TIDAL does not appear as an active subscription, do not assume the subscription is canceled: check the payment information in your TIDAL account to see whether another method is billing you. TIDAL’s cancellation instructions direct Apple-billed customers to cancel with Apple.

If you subscribed through Google Play
- On your Android device, open Google Play’s subscriptions page.
- Select TIDAL, tap Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
If TIDAL is not listed as active, check other Google accounts and email addresses you may have used to register. TIDAL advises contacting Google Play support if you still cannot locate the subscription. Its subscription guide also documents an Android app route: tap the heart icon, tap the upper-right gear, choose Edit and Manage Subscription, then scroll to Subscription > Cancel Subscription and confirm.

What happens after you cancel
TIDAL says cancellation leaves your access active through the end of the current billing cycle. If you were on a free trial, TIDAL says you can cancel a trial at any time; the cancellation route still depends on whether TIDAL, Apple, or Google Play manages billing. See TIDAL’s refund FAQ for its refund guidance.
Refund handling depends on the billing provider and country. TIDAL says it cannot process refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google Play; contact the relevant platform about those charges. For customers in the United States, TIDAL says it cannot refund a renewal when the customer forgot to cancel before it occurred. Customers elsewhere should check the refund policy for their country.

Canceling a subscription is not the same as deleting your account
If you want to stop charges but keep your TIDAL account, cancel the subscription instead of deleting the account. TIDAL describes account deletion as permanent and irreversible. Deletion can remove playlists, favorites, listening history, profile, uploaded music, and account details; it immediately removes streaming access and forfeits any remaining subscription period. It also does not cancel billing managed by Apple or Google Play, which must be canceled through that provider. Read TIDAL’s account-deletion guidance before requesting deletion.
