Use Petalis as a back-line support in a six-hero Nature formation: front—Monk and Altar Marshal; middle—Forest Maiden and Tidecaller; back—Petalis and Pixie. This arrangement keeps Petalis away from opening attacks while her shields, control, and team buffs protect the front line and amplify the whole queue. It is the current Nature endgame recommendation cited by the Petalis database, and Pocket Gamer lists Petalis in S-Tier in its October 18, 2026 update.
The formation is strongest when all six heroes are Nature, because Petalis gains her largest faction-dependent bonuses. If your roster is incomplete, keep Petalis in the back and preserve the same jobs—two durable frontliners, dependable damage, and enough healing or support to sustain them—rather than forcing six underdeveloped Nature heroes.

The recommended Petalis lineup
Top Heroes uses six slots arranged in three rows. Petalis should occupy a back-row slot, where she can cast without being the first target. The current Nature endgame queue is:
Recommended Free Tools
| Row | Heroes | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Front | Monk, Altar Marshal | Absorb the opening pressure, hold enemies in place, and give Petalis time to cycle her support skills. |
| Middle | Forest Maiden, Tidecaller | Provide the Nature damage, control, and support core behind the tanks. |
| Back | Petalis, Pixie | Petalis shields and buffs the team; Pixie supplies the second back-line support slot. |
Petalis’s first major defensive spell targets a front-row ally, so placing her behind the tanks lets the shield land on the heroes taking initial damage while keeping its caster protected. Do not move her to the front simply to shorten a cast path: losing her uptime usually costs more than any positional gain.

Why Petalis is a back-line support
Petalis is not built to trade basic attacks at the front. Her value comes from timed protection, crowd control, and team-wide modifiers. The front row must survive long enough for those effects to cycle. Monk and Altar Marshal therefore have a different job from Petalis: they create the safe casting window by occupying opponents and absorbing the first burst.
Petalis’s support also scales with the rest of the queue. A six-Nature team activates the largest version of her faction interactions, while a mixed team gives up some scaling in exchange for easier early access to developed heroes. The choice is not simply “all Nature or nothing”; it is a trade between Petalis’s ceiling and the levels, stars, and survivability your account can field today.
Petalis’s skills and what each one changes
The following effects are the practical reasons for the recommended formation. Percentages are the values listed for Petalis’s current endgame kit.
| Skill | Effect | Formation implication |
|---|---|---|
| Sacred Lotus | Raises petals around one allied hero, prioritizing the front row. The shield equals 280% of Petalis’s Attack, absorbs 80% of incoming damage for six seconds, and prevents Silence and Knockback while active. | Keep two sturdy heroes in front so the spell protects a meaningful target. The anti-control protection is especially valuable when a tank would otherwise be displaced or silenced. |
| Charm Flower | Deals 410% Attack along its path, then 390% Attack in an area explosion, and Charms enemies for 1.5 seconds. Shields reduce its damage by 40%. | Petalis contributes control and burst rather than standing as a primary damage dealer. Use the Charm window to interrupt pressure on the frontline. |
| Flourish | Allied skill casts generate Sunlight stacks. Each stack increases the next Sacred Lotus shield by 1.5%, up to eight stacks. | A team with frequent skill casts lets Petalis turn repeated support cycles into a larger emergency shield. Do not waste the empowered shield on a target that is not under threat. |
| Twin Lotus | When an ally falls below 20% HP, Petalis spends 20% of her current HP to create a shield equal to 38% of the ally’s max HP. With six Nature heroes, that shield value is doubled. | The full Nature queue gives this rescue tool its best payoff. Because the skill costs Petalis health, frontline durability and other healing support still matter. |
| Sakura Rain | Creates a six-second zone that increases allied Damage by 26%, reduces enemy Attack by 15%, and reduces enemy Attack Speed by 30%. | Place the team so the front and middle heroes remain in the zone. The debuffs reduce incoming pressure while the damage increase improves both sustained waves and short burst windows. |
| Fox Spirit Secrets | Each Nature hero contributes 1.5% to the relevant team Damage Reduction or Damage effect, capped at 9%. | Six Nature heroes reach the cap; mixed factions give a smaller contribution. This is one of the clearest reasons to complete the Nature roster for endgame play. |
How to assemble the six-Nature formation
Front row: Monk and Altar Marshal
Use Monk and Altar Marshal as the anchors of the current Nature queue. Their success is measured by how long they keep enemies occupied, not by how much personal damage they deal on the opening second. A frontliner that collapses before Sacred Lotus or Sakura Rain cycles has started is a formation problem even if Petalis is fully upgraded.
Middle row: Forest Maiden and Tidecaller
Forest Maiden and Tidecaller fill the middle pair in the cited lineup. They preserve the six-Nature count while adding the damage, control, and support needed behind the tanks. Keep them close enough to benefit from Sakura Rain, but do not replace both with fragile damage dealers if the front row cannot hold aggro.

Back row: Petalis and Pixie
Petalis belongs in one back slot and Pixie in the other. The pair gives the formation two protected support positions without displacing the front-line tanks. If a battle repeatedly reaches the back row, fix the front-line durability or enemy-control problem first; moving Petalis forward removes the protection that makes her kit valuable.
Faction bonuses and matchup planning
Pocket Gamer’s formation guidance describes a general pattern of two tanks in front, two damage dealers in the middle, and two healers or a healer plus supporter in back. That pattern fits Petalis because she supplies support from safety while the other rows carry the direct pressure.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFaction concentration changes the queue’s baseline statistics. With four, five, or six Legendary heroes from one faction, Queue Attack and Queue HP increase by 15%, 25%, or 35%, respectively. The six-Nature Petalis formation therefore receives the highest listed faction bonus when all six qualifying heroes are Legendary. Confirm that your heroes meet the game’s Legendary requirement before assuming the aura is active.
The basic counter relationship is League > Nature > Horde > League. A Nature queue has an advantage into Horde and a disadvantage into League under this relationship. In Arena or other matchup-based content, check the opposing faction before spending resources on a difficult fight; a countered Nature team may need a stronger investment or a different queue.
What to do before you own six developed Nature heroes
Do not bench Petalis while waiting for a perfect roster. Keep her in the back and preserve the role pattern:

- Front: two durable heroes that can hold enemy attention.
- Middle: at least one reliable damage source, with the second slot assigned to damage or control based on the stage.
- Back: Petalis plus a healer or another support hero that keeps the frontline alive.
Pocket Gamer’s beginner example uses Secret Keeper and Treeguard as tanks, Pyromancer and Stonemason as damage dealers, and Druid plus Bard for healing and support. Those heroes are practical substitutes while a Nature roster is incomplete; the example does not establish that they outperform a fully invested Nature lineup.

Compare the immediate durability of your available tanks with the value of the missing Nature bonuses. If your front line dies before Petalis can cast, add the developed tank or healer first. Once the replacement Nature heroes reach a comparable investment level, transition one slot at a time so you do not lose all of your working damage at once.
Skill upgrade order and resource discipline
Skill books and universal shards are limited, so leveling every Petalis skill evenly can delay the breakpoints that keep the team alive. The cited priority is:
- Sacred Lotus
- Charm Flower
- Twin Lotus
- Sakura Rain
- Flourish
Take each skill to three stars before moving to the next in that sequence. This order puts the main shield first, then Petalis’s control and emergency protection, followed by the team zone and the shield-stacking passive. It is a starting rule rather than an immutable law: adjust it for your game mode, Petalis’s current star level, and whether another hero already supplies reliable control or damage.
| Upgrade phase | Reason to stop there | Check before spending more |
|---|---|---|
| Sacred Lotus to three stars | Improves the effect you use to keep a frontliner alive through the opening damage. | Is the shield landing on the intended front-row target, and does that hero survive the full six-second window? |
| Charm Flower to three stars | Adds a damage-and-control breakpoint after the primary defense is funded. | Does the Charm interrupt dangerous attacks or prevent the enemy from reaching the back line? |
| Twin Lotus to three stars | Strengthens the below-20%-HP rescue tool, with the largest value in a six-Nature queue. | Can the team recover after the trigger, or does Petalis lose too much current HP to sustain another cycle? |
| Sakura Rain to three stars | Improves the six-second offensive and defensive zone for the whole formation. | Do your heroes remain inside the zone long enough to receive its modifiers? |
| Flourish to three stars | Enhances the next Sacred Lotus through Sunlight stacks after the direct skills are funded. | Are allied casts frequent enough to build stacks before the next dangerous hit? |
AllClash’s warning is economic: “Upgrading all skills simultaniously is a bullet-proof strategy to ruin your progress.” The spelling is reproduced as published, but the practical point is clear—concentrate scarce books and shards on one breakpoint at a time instead of spreading them across the entire kit.

Gear and stat priorities without a named set
The available Petalis guidance does not identify a universal gear set, exact enhancement levels, or a tested stat threshold. Treat any claim that one named set is mandatory as unestablished for this build. You can still make defensible choices from the skill formulas:
- Attack: Sacred Lotus’s main shield and Petalis’s offensive skills scale from Attack, so Attack is the most directly documented offensive-and-support stat in her kit.
- Survivability: Twin Lotus spends 20% of Petalis’s current HP when it triggers. Gear that prevents Petalis from being deleted before she casts, according to the stats available in your client, protects both her normal rotation and that emergency skill.
- Skill uptime: If your gear system offers a clearly labeled cooldown, energy, or cast-frequency bonus, compare it against raw Attack in the mode you play. More frequent casts can generate Sunlight stacks and Sakura Rain windows, but the game does not provide a single published breakpoint in the cited material.
- Control resistance: Sacred Lotus prevents Silence and Knockback on its shielded ally, not necessarily on Petalis herself. If your client offers resistance or immunity options, they are most valuable when enemy control stops Petalis from casting.
Use the in-game tooltip and your current gear screen to verify names and values, because equipment systems and labels can change independently of Petalis’s skill descriptions. Upgrade a piece that helps Petalis cast and survive before chasing a small damage increase that does not change a stage’s outcome.
Adapting the queue to different battles
PvE waves and campaign stages
For repeated waves, favor the stable six-Nature formation. The two frontliners buy time, Sakura Rain’s six-second zone improves clear speed while reducing enemy output, and Petalis’s shields smooth out damage between waves. If a stage kills the middle row rather than the tanks, move a tougher support or damage hero into that row without removing both Nature supports at once.
Boss encounters
Bosses often reward sustained uptime over short crowd-control windows. Keep Petalis protected and make sure the frontline remains inside Sakura Rain. If the boss ignores Charm or cannot be displaced, the skill still contributes its damage but its 1.5-second Charm should not be treated as guaranteed control. A developed secondary damage dealer may be preferable to a lower-investment support if survival is already secure.
Arena and faction matchups
Check whether the opposing team is League before committing to a Nature mirror. The counter chart gives League an advantage over Nature. Against a countered opponent, preserving the front line and denying enemy burst becomes more important than maximizing Petalis’s faction count. Against Horde, the Nature queue’s relationship is favorable, so the full six-Nature bonuses are easier to justify.
Best Value
Acquisition, stars, and progression planning
The cited Petalis database lists her unlock source as Purchase or Event and lists 1,000 shards to reach 5★. It does not provide a universal event calendar or region-by-region availability. Check the live client for the event dates, purchase rules, shard price, and whether the offer is available in your region before budgeting around it.
Because the 5★ target is a large shard commitment, decide whether Petalis is your account’s primary Nature support before spending universal shards. If your roster cannot yet field the six-Nature lineup, prioritize the frontliners and one dependable damage source that make her current casts matter. A higher-star Petalis cannot compensate for a frontline that collapses immediately.
Common problems and fixes
Petalis dies before casting
- Move her to the back if she is not already there.
- Replace a fragile frontliner with your most durable available tank.
- Check whether an enemy opener reaches the back row; if so, add control or survivability rather than sacrificing Petalis’s support position.
Sacred Lotus protects the wrong hero
The skill targets one ally and prioritizes the front row. Place the hero you want protected in the appropriate front slot, then test the opening seconds. Do not assume the left-to-right order is interchangeable; the client’s target behavior determines which tank receives the shield.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Twin Lotus triggers but the team still collapses
The rescue effect activates below 20% HP and costs Petalis 20% of her current HP. If the recipient is immediately hit again, the shield has bought time but not solved the damage source. Improve frontline control, add healing, or use a more durable target before investing solely in Twin Lotus levels.
The six-Nature bonus is missing
Count the heroes actually deployed and verify their faction and Legendary status. Four, five, and six Legendary heroes from one faction produce different aura levels; six ordinary Nature heroes do not automatically equal six qualifying Legendary heroes for the Queue Attack and Queue HP bonus.
Upgrades feel expensive but the team is not stronger
Stop spreading books and shards across every skill. Return to the three-star sequence, test Sacred Lotus first, and only advance when the current breakpoint changes survival or control in the mode you are playing.
A practical build checklist
- Assign Petalis to the back row.
- Start with Monk and Altar Marshal in front, Forest Maiden and Tidecaller in the middle, and Pixie beside Petalis.
- Work toward six Nature heroes to double Twin Lotus’s shield and reach the 9% Fox Spirit Secrets cap.
- Keep two durable frontliners even when you substitute non-Nature heroes.
- Upgrade Sacred Lotus, Charm Flower, Twin Lotus, Sakura Rain, then Flourish, taking each to three stars before moving on.
- Use Attack and survivability as the first evidence-based gear considerations; verify any cooldown or resistance effects in your current client.
- Check the League–Nature–Horde counter relationship before Arena matches.
- Confirm live event availability and the 1,000-shard 5★ requirement before planning Petalis purchases.
Final recommendation
Build around Petalis by protecting her, not by turning her into a frontline carry. The six-Nature queue of Monk, Altar Marshal, Forest Maiden, Tidecaller, Petalis, and Pixie gives her the positioning, faction count, and support cycle her kit is designed for. When that roster is not yet affordable, retain the same role structure with your best available tanks, damage dealer, and healer or supporter, then transition toward the full Nature formation as investments catch up.
