Save Page WE creates a local .html archive; upload that file to Google Drive using New > File upload, drag-and-drop, or the Google Drive for desktop folder. The extension’s documented save workflow does not directly transfer its files to Drive.
1. Save the webpage as an HTML file

Open the page you want to preserve in Firefox or Chrome, then use the Save Page WE toolbar button or its page/button context-menu save action. Its official add-on listing describes saving the displayed page as a single HTML file.

For several pages, use the extension’s options to save selected tabs or a list of URLs. The listing says filenames can include fields such as page title, date, time, host and path.

Locate the resulting
.htmlfile in the browser’s configured download destination. Keep that local copy until you confirm the Drive upload is complete.#1 Best Overall

2. Upload the file to Google Drive
Use Drive in a computer browser

Open Google Drive and, if you want the archive organized, open or create its destination folder.

Select New > File upload, choose the saved
.htmlfile, and wait for the upload to finish. -
Check that the file appears in the destination folder before deleting or moving your local copy.

Drag the file into a Drive folder
Open the destination folder in Drive and drag the downloaded HTML file from your computer into the browser window. Wait for the upload to complete, then verify the file is listed.
Use Google Drive for desktop
If you already use Drive for desktop, place or copy the HTML file into the local Google Drive folder it provides. Allow the app to upload it, then confirm it appears in Drive online. This is convenient for a batch of files, but still requires you to save the webpages first.
Which upload route should you use?

Google says uploads use Drive storage, including files uploaded into folders owned by someone else. Check available storage if an upload fails or you are archiving many pages. See Google Drive’s storage guidance.

Does Save Page WE save directly to Drive?
Not in the documented workflow: Save Page WE saves a file, and Google documents uploading an existing file through Drive on the web or Drive for desktop. Google’s separate Save to Drive controls apply to certain PDFs in Chrome or Print view, not to uploading a local Save Page WE HTML archive.

What the saved webpage includes—and what it may not
Save Page WE describes its output as a single HTML file containing the page as currently displayed and referenced resources. Its Basic, Standard and Custom save settings determine which items such as images, audio/video, fonts, objects, CSS and scripts are included. Some cross-origin frames may not be saved, and scripts in cross-origin frames are never saved. Treat the result as an offline representation, not a guaranteed complete or interactive reproduction of every website.

If a saved page looks incomplete, review the extension’s save settings and save again with the needed resource types included. A missing cross-origin frame or its scripts may not be recoverable through those settings.

You cannot find the HTML file: Check the browser’s download destination and download history. The extension listing says the default file extension is

The file is not in Drive: Confirm the upload or desktop sync finished, and check the folder you selected. Keep the local file until it appears online.

Drive refuses the upload: Check available storage. Drive uploads count against storage even in folders owned by someone else.

The archive is missing images, frames or behavior: Save Page WE’s inclusion settings affect saved resources, and cross-origin frames or scripts can be unavailable. The archive is not guaranteed to reproduce all live-site behavior.

You expected new saves to appear automatically in Drive: Saving with the extension and uploading to Drive are separate steps. Use the Drive for desktop folder as an upload route if you want to add saved files through a local folder; the extension’s listing does not describe automatic ongoing cloud sync.
