To broadcast prerecorded Tamil devotional videos on YouTube Live, schedule a live event in YouTube Studio and send it a continuous feed from an encoder or cloud streaming service. A regular YouTube playlist does not, by itself, become a live broadcast. Before automating playback, confirm you have the rights to every song, recording, and visual in the stream.
What you need for an automated YouTube Live stream
- A verified YouTube channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. YouTube lists these as eligibility requirements: live streaming tips.
- A live event created or scheduled in YouTube Studio.
- An encoder—software, dedicated hardware, or a cloud service—to send the video and audio feed to YouTube.
- A sequence of prerecorded videos configured in that encoder or service. YouTube’s standard playlist feature is not a substitute for an encoder feed.
- Permission to stream all included audio and video worldwide, including applicable music licensing rights.
YouTube’s official encoder instructions explain how to connect an encoder to a live event: Set up your encoder for live streaming. You do not need to buy a hardware encoder just because the stream is automated; YouTube supports software encoders as well.

Check copyright and permissions before scheduling
YouTube’s livestream terms say: “You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights for the exploitation of the Live Content on the Google Services throughout the world, including, without limitation, music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers (including public performance licenses) and any other royalty participants.” Read the YouTube livestream terms and obtain the rights needed for each recording and visual.
A devotional subject or a publicly available upload does not establish that you can rebroadcast its recording. Rights may involve the performance, sound recording, composition, and accompanying imagery. If a rights holder has licensed the material to you, ask whether your channel needs to be added to its Content ID allowlist.

- Compact but Powerful Design: ZowieBox is smaller than a phone, featuring a tally light and LCD screen for streaming status. Capture console gameplay in up to 4K with zero-lag HDMI passthrough, while the built-in video encoder converts video for IP streaming. The IP stream can also be decoded back to a 4K HDMI signal.
- Standalone Game Streaming: Just plug and play—ZowieBox enables PC-free live gaming without affecting gameplay. As an RTMP hardware encoder and HDMI streamer, it delivers stable streaming directly from your source, making it ideal for gaming, live events, and professional broadcasting.
- NDI|HX3 Converter Technology: ZowieBox converts HDMI signals to NDI|HX3/HX2/HX, functioning as an NDI video encoder, or NDI Video Decoder for flexible IP workflows. Certified NDI technology enables low-latency gameplay streaming through OBS/vMix. Note: Encoder and decoder modes cannot run simultaneously; full NDI signals are not supported.
- UVC to HDMI Conversion: Supporting up to 4K@30fps and 1080p@60fps decoding, ZowieBox enables flexible conversion for webcam and video workflows. As a video decoder and HDMI to IP converter, it expands connectivity options for professional video devices. Note: USB capture card functionality is not currently supported.
- All-around Configuration Options: Control ZowieBox through its web UI on a PC, phone, or tablet. Manage connected PTZ cameras, tally light, video/audio, OSD, work mode, streams, network, and system settings. Support for VISCA over IP encoder workflows enables flexible PTZ control, while the dashboard provides video preview and system status.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. It may replace the feed with a placeholder and interrupt or terminate the stream if the detected content remains. Review YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance before using devotional songs or video you did not create or license.
Schedule the event and connect an encoder
- Confirm channel eligibility. Check that the channel is verified and has not had a live-streaming restriction in the prior 90 days.
- Create or schedule the event. In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create or schedule a stream. Scheduling creates an upcoming watch page that you can share ahead of time. Follow YouTube’s current encoder setup instructions for the available controls.
- Choose an encoder. Select software, hardware, or a cloud service based on what you own and whether you want a device at home to run unattended. Confirm that the tool documents prerecorded-video sequencing, continuous playback, and its behavior after disconnection.
- Configure the video sequence. Add the intended recordings in the chosen order and configure the encoder or service to send them as a continuous feed. Verify its current playlist and looping instructions; YouTube’s encoder guide does not guarantee that a standard YouTube playlist will automatically feed an encoder.
- Enter YouTube’s server URL and stream key in the encoder. Treat the stream key as a password: do not publish it, share it with viewers, or place it in public instructions. YouTube describes the key as functioning like the stream’s password and address.
- Preview and test. Start the encoder before the event, check that the watch page is accessible, and verify representative video motion and audio. Check stream health in Live Control Room. YouTube recommends testing and monitoring quality; see its live streaming tips.
- Start and monitor the broadcast. Confirm that the outgoing feed and the viewer-facing watch page both show the intended content. A running encoder alone does not prove that viewers receive usable audio and video.
- Stop the feed to end the stream. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Plan longer broadcasts with that documented limit in mind, and verify current behavior in YouTube Help: encoder setup.
Choose how to keep the playlist running
| Approach | What it means | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Software encoder | Streaming software on a computer sends the feed. YouTube supports software encoders. | That the computer can remain on and connected, and that the software documents the required prerecorded-video sequence and recovery behavior. |
| Hardware encoder | A dedicated device sends the feed. It is optional; YouTube also describes software encoders. | That the device supports your workflow for sequencing prerecorded video, along with any needed unattended operation and recovery. |
| Cloud streaming service | A hosted service sends the prerecorded feed without relying on a home computer staying on. | Current playlist looping, stream-key handling, recovery behavior, supported quality, and billing terms. YouTube’s encoder options page names Gyre as a cloud-based 24/7 prerecorded-streaming tool, but that listing does not establish its current features or suitability for this playlist: YouTube encoder options. |
For any option, check its current documentation rather than assuming it will loop a playlist or recover from an interruption. YouTube’s official encoder guidance covers supported streaming workflows and options, but does not provide a specific step-by-step setup for looping this Tamil devotional playlist.

Audio, video, and connection settings
YouTube’s encoder guidance includes RTMP/RTMPS, H.264/H.265/AV1 video, AAC or MP3 audio, and constant bitrate encoding. Exact requirements and compatibility can change, so check YouTube’s current encoder settings and your encoder’s documentation before configuring a broadcast.
- Choose a quality the encoder and reliable upload connection can sustain; YouTube recommends matching quality to the available connection.
- Use an encoder configuration compatible with YouTube’s current format and bitrate guidance. Do not assume every encoder supports every listed codec.
- Test audio as well as picture. Listen for silence, clipping, or unexpected gaps, and inspect the viewer-facing preview.
- Run a representative test with motion and sound before scheduling an unattended stream. Check stream health, not just whether the encoder says it is live.
Troubleshoot common failures
| Symptom | Possible cause | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| You cannot start a live stream | The channel may not meet YouTube’s live-stream eligibility requirements. | Verify the channel and check for live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days; consult YouTube’s live streaming tips. |
| The event is scheduled but no video appears | The encoder may not be sending a feed, or its server URL or stream key may be incorrect. | Check the encoder connection details in YouTube Studio and restart the feed using YouTube’s encoder setup guidance. Keep the stream key private. |
| The stream appears live, but the playlist does not advance or repeat | The selected encoder or service may not support the intended sequence or loop configuration. | Check that tool’s current prerecorded-playback documentation and test a full sequence before relying on unattended operation. A YouTube playlist alone is not an encoder feed. |
| The broadcast is interrupted or replaced by a placeholder | YouTube may have detected third-party content, or a rights holder may not have allowlisted the channel. | Review rights for each recording and visual, contact the rights holder about Content ID allowlisting where applicable, and consult YouTube’s live copyright guidance. |
| Viewers report poor picture or audio | The chosen quality may exceed what the connection or encoder can reliably deliver, or the source may contain an audio issue. | Check stream health, test representative content, and adjust the encoder using YouTube’s current encoder settings. |
| A long broadcast is not archived as expected | YouTube documents automatic archiving for streams under 12 hours. | Plan around that limit and confirm current archive behavior in YouTube’s encoder setup guidance. |
