Roblox states that its standard mobile apps do not include gift card redemption, so the browser is the method that works on most tablets. Samsung Galaxy users have one documented exception, covered below.
Redeem the card in a tablet browser
This method works on any tablet with a modern web browser, such as Safari or Chrome.

- Open your browser and navigate to Roblox.com/redeem.
- Log in to the Roblox account where you want the value to go. Retail-code Robux are credited to whichever account is signed in when the code is redeemed, so confirm the username before continuing.
- Enter the gift card PIN or code and select Redeem.
- Wait for Roblox’s confirmation message stating that the credit or item was added.
- If the card added Roblox Credit, view the balance on the redemption or billing settings page, then spend it from the browser. Roblox says Credit cannot be used in its mobile apps.
You can redeem several cards, but each one is submitted separately at Roblox.com/redeem.
The Samsung Galaxy app exception
The standard Roblox mobile app does not include the redemption page. Roblox Support makes one exception: “Only Samsung Galaxy users have the option to redeem directly within the Roblox mobile app.” If you own a Samsung Galaxy tablet, the in-app route works like this:
#1 Best Overall
- Redemption: Online only. Robux cards can only be redeemed in a browser at Roblox.com/redeem. They cannot be redeemed in the Roblox mobile app or any video game console.
- Roblox is an immersive platform for connection and communication. Every day, millions of people come to Roblox to create, play, work, learn, and connect with each other in experiences built by our global community of creators.
- Get more with every Roblox Gift Card! From now on, when you redeem a Roblox gift card, you get up to 25% more Robux. Perfect for gaming, creating, and exploring- more Robux means more possibilities!
- Deck out your avatar and unlock additional perks in your favorite experiences when you use Roblox Gift Cards to purchase Robux (Roblox's virtual currency).
- Each gift card grants a free virtual item upon redemption.
- Open the Roblox app and go to More.
- Tap Redeem, enter the code, and wait for the confirmation.
Roblox’s wording describes Samsung Galaxy devices as a group. It does not list individual tablet models or app versions, so if the option does not appear on your device, use the browser method instead.
What the card adds to your account
The card type determines whether the value arrives as Roblox Credit or directly as Robux. Check the card’s front, back, or packaging and the terms printed with it before you assume how the balance will appear.

Troubleshooting a code that will not redeem
Most rejected codes come from a character that was misread on the card. Before contacting support, check these look-alike substitutions that Roblox Support specifically flags:
- 0 can be confused with O
- 1 can be confused with I
- 2 can be confused with Z
- 5 can be confused with S
- 6 can be confused with G or Q
- 8 can be confused with B
If the code still fails, contact Roblox Support. Have these details ready: the account username, the purchase date and amount, the retailer and city, your country of residence, the PIN and serial number, images of the receipt and card, and a screenshot of any error message.

Other details to know
- Currency and region: Roblox says codes can be redeemed worldwide and that the value is converted automatically to the account’s local currency. Regional handling can vary, so check the terms for your card and country.
- Refunds: Roblox states that it does not refund gift cards. The U.S. terms describe the cards as non-refundable subject to applicable law, and local consumer law may differ.
- Store gift cards are different: An Amazon store gift card purchased from Amazon is not a Roblox redemption code. Only the Roblox-issued Amazon card type described above redeems for Robux.
