Add a button to the Astra header
- In your WordPress dashboard, open Appearance > Customize > Header. Astra may identify this area as the Header Builder.
- In the Header Builder layout, add the Button element to the header row and position where you want it. To make it a distinct call to action at the end of the menu, place it after the menu elements.
- Open the Button settings. Enter the button label, such as “Contact” or “Book now,” and the destination URL. Use the design controls to adjust its appearance.
- Select Publish to save the changes to your site.

Show the button in the mobile menu
- In the Header Builder, switch to the mobile device view.
- Add or move the Button element into the off-canvas menu area.
- Set its label, link and design if needed, then select Publish.
The desktop and mobile layouts can be arranged separately, so a button placed in the desktop header is not automatically positioned in the mobile off-canvas menu. Astra’s dedicated instructions cover both placements.

Astra’s documentation distinguishes the Button element from the desktop Toggle Button. The Toggle Button opens an off-canvas panel and is documented as an Astra Pro feature for Astra 3.3 or later; that panel can contain elements such as a Button. It is not the same as adding a basic button to the header. See Astra’s desktop Toggle Button guide.
