Can you pause GTA 5 anytime?
In Story Mode, you can pause the game. The exact control depends on your platform. Rockstar’s PC controls guidance says: “If no menu appears on screen then pressing Esc will pause the game, whereas the Right mouse button goes back in most menus.” In other words, on PC, press Esc when no menu is already open to pause.

The 75–85-hour estimate refers to GTA Intel’s completion scope, which includes more than finishing the campaign: it also counts side missions, hobbies, random encounters, and collectibles. It is a guide-specific estimate rather than a universal timer for every player’s definition of 100%.
