That claim applies only to this judgment feature—not to all GenesisCore analysis. The product’s existing Western astrology and Jyotish analysis still uses AI, according to the feature’s author, Sora Attilas.
What “no new LLM call” means here
The claim is specific to the Five Paths judgment layer. In the public behavior model described by Attilas, a person’s birth input is used to compute a Western or Jyotish chart; fixed rules are then matched against that chart. The system returns path-group and detailed-rule IDs, after which separate explanation and reference-data layers supply interpretive material and records. Results appear in tabs and a one-page PDF.

This is the product’s public behavior model, not a disclosure that every internal component has been open-sourced. Nor does it mean that no AI is used anywhere in the product: the author says existing Western astrology and Jyotish analysis still uses AI. Attilas’s concise design principle is: “An AI product does not need to use generative AI at every layer.” Source: Sora Attilas, AETHERCORE, DEV Community, September 11, 2026.
What the 73 groups and 386 rules represent
The product dictionary is reported to cover 73 path groups and 386 detailed rules. A path group is a reading unit that can contain more than one concrete route. A detailed rule identifies which system, chart, position, or relationship matched. These are counts of product coverage—not proof that all 386 rules have been independently validated one by one.

The author also reports 509 edited person-by-path records in Japanese and English. That is not a count of unique people or independent experiments: one person may appear in records for multiple paths.
How judgment, interpretation, and records differ
| Layer | What it contains | What it can establish |
|---|---|---|
| Judgment | Chart placements, rule IDs, and matched conditions | What the system calculated and which fixed condition it matched |
| Interpretation | Path names, meanings, rationale, and practical contexts | How the symbolic structure is explained |
| Record | Occupations, activities, comparison notes, and sources for reference people | What is documented about those people |
Keeping these layers distinct matters when asking, “why did this path appear?” The judgment can point to a matched condition; interpretation explains its symbolic meaning; a reference record offers comparison material. Those are different kinds of claims and should not be treated as interchangeable evidence.

Why use fixed matching and a separate explanation layer?
Attilas gives four engineering reasons for separating the matcher from its explanations and reference records. These are the author’s design rationale, not independently measured outcomes.
- Reproducibility: Given the same input and the same rule and dictionary versions, the judgment can follow the same route again without LLM sampling variation in that layer.
- Traceability: A displayed label can be followed back to a path group, detailed rule, and calculated placement.
- Editorial control: Explanatory wording or reference data can be corrected without rewriting the matcher. Rule changes can be reviewed against the explanations and screens they affect.
- Claim control: The interface can distinguish a matched condition from its interpretation and from documented comparison material.
How to read the radar chart
The radar chart’s values compare the number of matched path-family types with a 420-person development reference, as described by the author. They are not aptitude ratings, career recommendations, or probabilities of success. A zero means no current fixed rule matched that path; it does not mean the person lacks the corresponding ability.
Accordingly, the chart should be read as a visualization of this rule system’s matches—not as a measurement of talent or a prediction of career outcomes. The article does not establish that the matches cause real-world outcomes.
What the reported checks do—and do not—show
Attilas reports checking 40 Japanese and English pages and eight paid-result variants, and inspecting 1,522 PDF layouts. These checks concern implementation, rendering, layout, and consistency of generated documents. They do not amount to scientific validation, independent replication, evidence of causation, or proof of personal-ability or future-prediction accuracy.
The account is a first-party product and engineering description, not independent verification. It also says a full production purchase run—including paid AI generation and actual customer email delivery—had not been completed end to end. The reported QA figures therefore should not be read as an end-to-end production test or as evidence that the astrology judgments are scientifically valid.

The Five Paths view is described as a way to show fixed-rule matches alongside explanations, reference records, and a PDF report. Its architectural claim is narrower than “the product does not use AI”: the judgment layer adds no new LLM call, while other astrology analysis still uses AI. The rule and record counts describe the system’s coverage, and the reported checks describe software and presentation quality; neither establishes independent scientific validation.
