1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesIn Fisch, a boat’s listed speed is its top speed, not the speed it travels from the moment you spawn it. Steering describes how quickly it rotates, while acceleration describes how quickly it reaches that top speed. Compare all three alongside cost, level requirement, and seats—and verify exact values with the in-game Shipwright because the community wiki warns its boat information is outdated.
What the three boat stats mean
Speed: the listed maximum
The Fisch Wiki describes speed in studs per second (S/ps) as the top speed a boat can reach. It is not a promise that the boat moves at that speed continuously or immediately after spawning.

Steering: rotation
Steering is the wiki’s measure of how quickly a boat rotates, expressed in degrees. It is a different measure from forward speed, so a higher speed figure alone does not establish which boat handles better.

Acceleration: reaching top speed
Acceleration describes how quickly a boat reaches its top speed. The wiki’s explanatory text and table use the acceleration notation inconsistently, so treat the listed figures as comparison entries rather than precise physical units or a basis for calculating travel time.

Example Shipwright boat values
The following figures are entries in the Fisch Wiki’s boat table, not firsthand testing or guaranteed current game data. The wiki says its boat information is outdated; check the in-game Shipwright before relying on stats, prices, or unlock requirements.
| Boat | Speed (S/ps) | Steering | Acceleration (listed) | Seats | Price | Level |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Speedboat | 85 | 50° | 0.25 | 3 | C$15,000 | 20 |
| Jetski | 180 | 70° | 0.3 | 2 | C$50,000 | 60 |
| Luxury Speedboat | 150 | 54° | 0.3 | 3 | C$20,000 | 50 |
These are values reported by the Fisch Wiki boat reference. Its page does not establish how steering behaves in every situation or confirm that the listed movement values match current in-game behavior exactly.

How to compare boats before buying
- Top speed: Compare the listed maximums, but do not confuse them with immediate speed or time saved on a particular trip.
- Steering: Use the listed rotation measure as its own comparison point; speed does not tell you how quickly a boat turns.
- Acceleration: Consider it as a separate indication of how quickly the boat reaches its maximum. The listed figures do not provide a reliable travel-time calculation.
- Cost and level: Check whether the price and required level suit your character and available in-game currency.
- Seats: Factor in passenger capacity if you expect to travel with others.
For example, the table gives the Jetski a higher listed top speed than the Luxury Speedboat, while the Luxury Speedboat has one additional seat; both list acceleration as 0.3. Their prices and level requirements also differ. That comparison describes the reference entries, not a tested buying ranking.

According to the community wiki, boats can be purchased and spawned through a Shipwright NPC found on most main islands. The page says purchasing requires the boat’s listed level and money. Since the reference flags its boat information as outdated, use the Shipwright in your current game to confirm what is available and what it costs before deciding.
