It can be useful, but use torque control and stop as soon as the fastener seats. Small PC screws are easy to damage if a driver keeps turning after the screw meets resistance. A Tom’s Hardware CPU reviewer described that risk and reported that the HOTO screwdriver stopped when he released the button. That is the reviewer’s first-person experience, not a controlled comparison proving that every HOTO model or every screw is safe to power-drive.
