PlayStation Blog’s Players’ Choice poll asks you to choose the September 2026 release you would most recommend to a friend. The ballot is a personal-preference vote—not an official buying recommendation or an objective ranking. Read the official poll post and cast your vote.
What is the September 2026 Players’ Choice poll?
PlayStation Blog published the poll on October 5, 2026. Its question is which September release was your favorite, and which one new game from that month you would recommend to a friend. The poll is part of PlayStation Blog’s recurring end-of-month feature: it opens a poll, counts votes after it closes, then announces the winner on its social channels and PlayStation.Blog.

Use your own judgment: the official criterion is the one new release you would recommend to a friend. PlayStation Blog says its editorial team selects that month’s most noteworthy releases to seed the poll, but does not describe a more detailed selection formula or an objective scoring rubric.

What counts as a release?
Rereleases are excluded. PlayStation Blog says ambitious, larger-scale remakes qualify, citing Resident Evil 4 (2023) and Final Fantasy VII Remake as examples. The poll is therefore about eligible new releases and remakes, not simply every game available during September.
Which games are on the ballot?
The English post mentions Marvel’s Wolverine, Control Resonant, Dune: Awakening, and NBA 2K27 as examples of major September releases; those examples are not presented as the complete ballot. A German-language version of the official poll displays a broader list, including Aniimo, BrokenLore: Don’t Lie, Control Resonant, Dune: Awakening, EA Sports FC 27, Endless Legend 2, Keeper, Marvel’s Wolverine, NBA 2K27, and Silent Hill: Townfall, among other titles. Because that list is not necessarily exhaustive, use the live ballot to see all available choices.
