Hostinger AI Builder Navigation: Manage Pages, Links, and Dropdowns in Manual Mode

Use Pages and navigation to control menu visibility, order, links, and dropdowns in Hostinger AI Builder manual mode.

In manual mode, manage the website menu from the editor’s Pages and navigation panel. Put items under Main navigation to show them in the menu bar, or under Hidden from navigation to remove them from the menu. Hiding a page does not make it private or keep it out of search results.

Open Pages and navigation

  1. In the AI Builder editor, expand Pages and navigation in the left panel. This is where you manage pages, links, and dropdown menus. You can also click the site header and choose Edit navigation to open the Pages panel. Hostinger’s navigation instructions

Show or hide a page in the menu

Move the page between Main navigation and Hidden from navigation using the page controls. Main navigation pages appear in the website menu; hidden pages do not.

This only changes menu visibility. A hidden page remains accessible to anyone with its URL and may still appear in search engines. For search visibility, use the page’s SEO settings to hide it from search engines; do not treat navigation visibility as privacy protection. See Hostinger’s guidance.

Reorder menu items

Locate the six-dot handle beside a page, link, or dropdown, then drag it up or down to set its position. The menu follows the order shown in the navigation panel. Hostinger’s instructions for sorting menu items

Add a page to the site

  1. In Pages and navigation, select Add page.
  2. Choose a page type and thumbnail, then adjust its settings, such as the URL, if needed. Page settings also include the page name, navigation visibility, social-image settings, and password protection.
  3. When ready for the change to appear online, update the website. Hostinger’s page-adding instructions

Add a link to the menu

  1. Choose Add link in the navigation panel and rename the item.
  2. Select its destination: a web address, an existing page, an uploaded file, a section on the site, a phone number, an email address, or a WhatsApp number.
  3. Optionally set the link to open in a new tab or hide it from navigation. Hostinger’s instructions for adding links

Create and arrange dropdown menus

Create a dropdown in the Pages and navigation panel, then move pages into or out of it to organize related destinations. Use the six-dot handle to reorder the dropdown alongside other navigation items. Hostinger documents dropdown management and drag-and-drop sorting.

Adjust the header or fix a missing menu

The header is the upper section of the site, also called the menu bar or navigation menu. Click it to access Edit header, Edit navigation, and Edit styles. Header layout options include sticky behavior, element and link spacing, menu layout, and top and bottom padding. Style options cover navigation font, normal and hover link colors, and header background.

If the header is missing, check whether every page is under Hidden from navigation; Hostinger identifies that as a possible cause. The shopping-bag control in the header is available only after enabling the eCommerce platform. Hostinger’s header instructions
