In Hostinger AI Builder’s manual mode, use More (⋯) → Integrations → Custom code for site-level integration or head-related snippets, and use Add elements → Embed code for content that should appear at a particular spot on a page. Follow the integration provider’s placement instructions, then save and update the website to publish the change. Custom code may be absent from the editor even when it appears in preview or on the live site.
Choose the right place for the code

These routes are not interchangeable in every case. If a third-party provider specifies whether its snippet must load in the <head> or <body>, follow that requirement. Hostinger’s integration guidance notes that the required location depends on the integration.

Add a site-level integration or head-related snippet
- In the builder, click More (⋯), then choose Integrations.
- Paste the snippet into Custom code. If you have multiple snippets, place them one after another; do not put one snippet inside the middle of another.
- Save the changes, then click Update to publish the website.
- To check whether the code reached the live site, open the site in a browser, use Inspect, and search the page source for a distinctive word or fragment from the snippet.
Hostinger says the tag type determines automatic placement: <meta>, <link>, and <style> tags go in the head; <script>, <noscript>, and <iframe> tags go at the end of the body. If a script must load from the head, Hostinger says to add data-render-head to its <script> tag. Check the provider’s documentation if it specifies a required location. Place code visibly within a page
- Open Add elements in the left panel.
- Drag an Embed code element to the position where the content should appear.
- Select the element, choose Enter code, paste the snippet, and click Embed code.
- Update the website to publish it.
Hostinger lists audio, PDF documents, client reviews, animations, social sharing buttons, and tables as possible embedded content. Third-party integrations may also provide calendars, forms, live chat, or widgets. The embed element can be duplicated, resized, or set to show or hide as needed. Customize an element with CSS
- Open the live site in Chrome and use DevTools to inspect the element you want to change.
- Test a CSS selector and property against the live page. Markup can differ between sites, so do not assume an example selector will work on yours.
- Put the working rule in a
<style>block and add it through More (⋯) → Integrations → Custom code. - Save and update the site, then check the result in preview or on the live website.
Hostinger’s CSS customization guide demonstrates changing an error message’s color; that selector is only an illustration, not a universal rule.
Check the published result and troubleshoot problems
- Code is missing in the editor: This is expected. Hostinger says custom-code changes appear in preview mode and online, not inside the editor. Verify in preview or on the published site instead.
- An embed does not load: Use HTTPS URLs and remove spaces around the URL. Hostinger warns that browsers may block insecure HTTP links.
- An embed is unusually large: Check whether an image is included inline in a
data:image…format. Hostinger says the Builder does not support that format for this case; use an image URL instead. - A widget remains absent after publishing: Clear the browser cache. If it still fails, contact the widget provider’s developer or support team.

If custom code breaks the site
- Save a backup.
- Remove the custom-code snippets and embedded code, then update the site.
- Inspect the live result. If the problem is resolved, add the snippets back one at a time, updating and checking after each, until you identify the one causing the conflict.
