Hold the Line is a semi-open chapter across Kalona, so explore each district as it becomes available and clear optional content before entering the courthouse. The main route runs from Octus Way Station through the Muster Point, Amberstone Storage, the bank and construction site, then west to the park and Mausoleum.
Before you leave the opening area
- Descend the nearby stairs, meet Russ and inspect the Supply Cache tutorial.
- Continue to Captain Grey and take the city map from the table. Use its markers and nearby-objective notifications to locate caches, Hard Cases and optional objectives.
- Explore as you go. Some content is gated until the story advances, so check newly opened areas again after completing objectives.
The chapter opens in sections rather than as one fully accessible map. The route below follows the main orders while flagging useful side content reported by QuestDuo and FPSHUB.

Secure Octus Way Station
Head east to the station. Explore the opening district before entering if you want to tackle its optional objectives. FPSHUB identifies “The Vanguard” and “Trapped Family” here and places a Hard Case behind a bus. Its guide describes two approaches to the station entrance and favors the upper route for a sniper position; that is a tactical preference, not a required path.

Prepare at the Supply Cache and reach the Muster Point
After securing the station, use the Supply Cache to resupply and adjust weapon modifications. Tactical Gear choices are a matter of play style: FPSHUB presents the Adrenaline Injector and Sonic Disruptor as alternatives, and highlights the Disruptor’s stun effect for the Bilefrog encounter.
Head south to the Muster Point. Inspect the bodies to trigger the fight. QuestDuo describes a corrosive-frog mini-boss, followed by more enemies and another frog. Its guide recommends explosives and shooting when the creature opens its mouth. FPSHUB calls the enemy a Bilefrog and suggests the Sonic Disruptor to create openings; it also notes that a Boomshot can deal heavy damage. These are guide tactics rather than a universally best loadout.

Nearby optional finds reported by QuestDuo include COG tags in the apartment building by the station, a storybook in the apartment with the “Apartment SOS” prompt, and the postcard and poster noted above. The COG Tags of Private Liz Waxman are on a first-floor scaffolding balcony; the Emgazi Blitz Display Case is in a top-floor bedroom in the same building. Tales of the Tyran Night Story Book is in the apartment reached by climbing scaffolding.
Secure the Imulsion stockpile
- Travel east to Amberstone Storage Facility and clear the enemy positions around it.
- Enter the warehouse and investigate the bodies when prompted.
- Locate the marked shipment container among the containers outside and enter the code provided by Control.
- Run when the sequence triggers.
Both QuestDuo and FPSHUB describe the keyed container and the need to leave after entering the code.

Get Mags’ medication and find Dr. Dalia Fabbri
Go to the Envoy Hotel for the story sequence; the Photograph and Harmonica collectibles are awarded automatically. Continue to the Bank of Tyrus, follow the employee and manager, then defend the bank and return to the vault switch. QuestDuo places Dr. Fabbri and the War Savings Bond in the vault, along with a Hard Case. During the defense, FPSHUB recommends holding the stair landing as a choke point against Tickers.
Clear the construction site before the courthouse
At the construction site, clear the lower floors before climbing. Use the scaffolding and rope ascents to reach the upper levels. QuestDuo places the Foreman’s Datapad on the first floor, at the back-left from the main entrance. FPSHUB describes a route up the rappel lines, around the outside platform and onto the roof, and recommends a sniper rifle as an option.

Before crossing into the courthouse, finish exploring this map section. QuestDuo warns that entering the courthouse makes the earlier area inaccessible, so collect nearby items and complete side objectives first.

Help Charlie Squad hold the courthouse against attacks from multiple directions. Use nearby resources; QuestDuo suggests placing a Sentry for supporting fire. Its estimate of roughly five minutes is an approximate guide estimate, not a fixed mission timer.

Find Whiskey Squad and survive the park ambush
Travel west toward the park. QuestDuo lists optional collectibles in and around the library, general store, park and newsstand, as well as the “Lone Wolf” objective in an apartment building. At Kalona Hotel, clear the hostiles and meet Cpl. Harris. Repel the follow-up attack, then take the Portrait of Chairman Tomas Dalyell outside the hotel elevator doors before ascending the rope.
Finish the chapter at the Mausoleum
Patch into the field relay, then head to the Mausoleum and help the Gears under attack. Defeating the enemies there completes the chapter.
Chapter item counts and route planning
QuestDuo’s 2026 guide reports 27 collectibles, 36 Hard Cases, 8 Supply Caches and 7 secondary objectives for the chapter. These are that guide’s counts, not official publisher totals; Hard Cases are distinct from standard collectibles. FPSHUB corroborates the chapter’s side objectives and several route details, but does not independently confirm all chapter-wide totals.

Use the in-game map and proximity notifications, and revisit areas when story progress opens new content. The most consequential route decision is the courthouse threshold: clear the earlier district before entering it. The walkthrough details reflect third-party guides dated October 3 and October 7, 2026; if a later game update changes chapter behavior, follow the current in-game objectives.
