A leak describes a possible HMD Pulse 2T Pro with a small rear display for notifications, a 120 Hz OLED screen and mid-range hardware. None of those details has been confirmed by HMD, so treat the reported specifications as provisional rather than a buying guide.
What the leak says about the HMD Pulse 2T Pro
Notebookcheck reported on October 9, 2026, that leaker @smashx_60 had shared images and key details of a phone that could be the HMD Pulse Pro’s successor. The report describes a flat-frame design and a large, rectangular rear camera island. These are details attributed to the leak, not an official product announcement. Notebookcheck’s report

Reported display and cameras
The leak describes a 6.78-inch OLED main screen with 1,080p+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It also claims a centered punch-hole selfie camera rated at 50 MP and an under-display fingerprint reader.

On the back, the reported camera setup pairs a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8 MP ultrawide camera. The distinctive extra feature is a small secondary display, which the report says HMD may call “Emo-LED.” It is said to show incoming notifications; the report suggests it may be too small and low-resolution to work well as a selfie-camera viewfinder.

- 50 MP on both rear and front cameras? Perfectly balanced, as all things should be
- Taking selfies has never been easier with the selfie gesture function
- Relax. You've got plenty of time between charges with up to 59 hours

Reported processor, memory and battery
The report attributes a MediaTek Helio G100 chipset to the phone. Notebookcheck notes that this chip has no 5G modem, so the leak does not point to 5G connectivity. One purported configuration has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage; the report does not establish whether other memory configurations will be offered.
The leak also claims a 6,000 mAh battery and USB-C charging at up to 33 W. Those figures, like the rest of the hardware details, remain unverified.

The same report lists IP64 protection and three color options: Temper Blue, Titanium and Orbit Green. HMD has not confirmed the rating or finishes.

What is confirmed—and what is not
The product details above come from Notebookcheck’s account of a leak attributed to @smashx_60. The HMD company release reviewed here is a strategy announcement dated March 1, 2026; it discusses the company’s direction for 2026 but does not name the Pulse 2T Pro. That release therefore does not confirm the phone or its specifications, but its silence alone cannot establish that HMD has made no announcement elsewhere. HMD’s 2026 announcement

The reporting reviewed does not establish an official product page, price, launch date, sales regions or final specifications. An Amazon reference in the Notebookcheck article concerns the existing HMD Pulse Pro, not a verified listing for the rumored Pulse 2T Pro. Do not treat that predecessor reference as evidence that the new model is on sale.
How to read the reported rear display
If the feature appears in a final product, its reported role is modest: showing notifications on the rear of the phone. The leak does not establish a broader set of functions, and the source doubts it would be useful as a camera preview screen. Until HMD confirms the display’s size, resolution and supported uses, “Emo-LED” should be understood as a reported name, not a settled feature description.

What to wait for before making a decision
Anyone considering the phone should wait for an HMD announcement or a reliable retail listing before relying on the leak. The most consequential details to verify are whether the Helio G100 is the final chipset, what connectivity the retail model supports, whether the rear display has useful functions beyond notifications, and which camera, battery, charging and memory specifications reach market.
