It comes in 55-, 65-, 75-, 85-, and 100-inch versions. Choose it for brightness, glare control, and MiniLED picture features; think carefully if you watch fast sports or expect smooth motion, and compare the price of your exact size before buying.
What is the Hisense U6SF Pro?
The U6SF Pro is a 2026 4K MiniLED television running Fire TV. Hisense’s support page identifies the 55-inch set as model 55U6SF Pro; RTINGS lists five sizes and says its review applies to the Pro model, not the non-Pro U6SF. The tested unit was the 65-inch version. RTINGS says its findings apply to the other sizes, while noting that exact panel differences by size are not fully known.

How good is the picture?
The strengths are brightness, contrast, and local dimming. RTINGS describes those as strong points, while Tom’s Guide found high SDR and HDR brightness in its lab tests and said the anti-reflection treatment helped the screen hold up in a bright room. In dark scenes, Tom’s Guide also noticed blooming—halos around bright objects against dark backgrounds. Local dimming can improve contrast, but it does not eliminate that effect.
#1 Best Overall
- HI - QLED MINILED: Striking contrast and vivid, lifelike color put every scene in a new light. Whether it's a sunny landscape or a candlelit drama, the picture leaps off the screen. Mini-LED backlighting uses hundreds of precise light zones to enhance contrast across the screen. Paired with Hi-QLED technology, every color comes through with stunning depth and accuracy
- NATIVE 144HZ REFRESH RATE: Fast breaks, high-speed chases, live finales — every frame stays crisp and fluid, so the action is always exactly where you need it to be. Native 144Hz refresh performance keeps movement fast and sharp, reducing blur during gameplay and live sports. The quick response helps you stay in control during competitive gaming while making rapid camera shots in shows and movies easier to follow
- BUILT-IN SUBWOOFER: Immersive deep bass from the built-in subwoofer pulls you into the heart of the moment, from the rumble of an explosion to the thump of your favorite song. Feel like you’re a part of the action
- ANTI-REFLECTION & GLARE-FREE: Bright rooms are no match for this screen. The anti-reflection and glare-free display keeps your view clean and distraction-free, so you stay focused on what matters — the show
- UNIBODY SLIM DESIGN: Edge-to-edge display and a seamless design that disappears into your room — so all you see is the picture
Tom’s Guide reported 358 nits of SDR brightness in its stated test mode and 1,265 nits of HDR brightness at a 10% window. Its other 2026 lab figures were Delta-E 1.58, Rec. 709 coverage of 98.85%, UHDA-P3 coverage of 96.1%, Rec. 2020 coverage of 75.12%, and 9.3 ms input latency. These are that publication’s measurements, not guaranteed results for every set, picture mode, or viewing environment.
Brightness figures alone do not settle picture quality. In the same Tom’s Guide comparison context, the TCL QM7L measured 196 nits SDR and 2,270 nits HDR; the Samsung S85H measured 230 nits SDR and 770 nits HDR; and the Hisense U7 measured 185 nits SDR and 2,866 nits HDR. The U6SF Pro’s brightness, glare handling, blooming, and motion behavior all matter to the viewing experience.

Is it good for sports and gaming?
Hisense lists native 144Hz refresh, VRR from 48–144Hz, ALLM, and FreeSync Premium Pro. RTINGS also reports a 240Hz boosted mode, but at reduced resolution. A higher refresh rate and gaming feature list do not guarantee clean motion: RTINGS identifies poor motion performance as a major weakness. That makes the U6SF Pro harder to recommend for fast sports or games where clear movement matters as much as refresh-rate support.

Tom’s Guide measured 9.3 ms input latency in its test, which is a separate measure from motion clarity. If you connect multiple high-bandwidth gaming devices, note that only two of the television’s four HDMI ports are HDMI 2.1. The remaining two are HDMI 2.0.

How it compares with nearby alternatives
- Hisense U65QF: RTINGS says the two trade blows: the U6SF Pro is brighter, more colorful, and better at local dimming, while the U65QF handles motion considerably better.
- Hisense U7SG: RTINGS says it is brighter, more colorful, better at local dimming, and better at motion handling.
- TCL QM6K: RTINGS favors the U6SF Pro for picture quality but says the TCL handles motion substantially better.
Which U6SF Pro size should you choose?
Start with the viewing distance and room, then compare the live price of each model. A larger screen is not automatically the better buy if it overwhelms the space or pushes you beyond budget. The available evidence establishes the model sizes, but does not provide room-specific viewing-distance guidance or a measured size-by-size performance comparison.
- 55 inches: Consider it for a smaller room or a closer viewing position. Check the current price for the exact 55U6SF Pro model.
- 65 inches: This is the size RTINGS tested, so its review findings are anchored to this version. RTINGS says the results apply to the other sizes but notes that panel differences are not fully known.
- 75 or 85 inches: Compare the screen’s footprint and your seating distance with the price difference before stepping up. For models 65 inches and larger, Hisense says the two feet can be set in wide or narrow positions.
- 100 inches: Check the room dimensions, installation route, support surface, mount compatibility, and current price before committing to the largest version.
What connections and mounting details matter?
Tom’s Guide reports four HDMI inputs—two HDMI 2.1 and two HDMI 2.0—plus USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, Ethernet, optical audio output, and a coaxial antenna input. It also reports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. Hisense lists Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR10, and HLG support, alongside Fire TV with Alexa+.

Tom’s Guide reports a 400 x 300 mm VESA mounting pattern. Confirm the exact television’s weight and mounting requirements, and ensure the selected mount is rated for that load and pattern. If connecting a soundbar, check the soundbar and television documentation for a compatible connection before purchasing.
Are the speakers and Fire TV good?
Reviewer judgments on the built-in sound differ. Tom’s Guide describes a 2.1-channel, 40-watt system with a built-in subwoofer and Dolby Atmos; its reviewer found dialogue clear and the sound fuller than typical thin-TV audio, though not a substitute for a soundbar or surround system in a serious home theater. RTINGS calls the internal speakers sub-par. Whether the speakers are adequate depends on how much you value fuller sound and how you use the TV.
Fire TV provides access to major streaming services and Alexa+ voice control. Tom’s Guide found the interface clunky and the home screen heavy on promoted content. Consider that experience if you prefer a quieter home screen or a different smart-TV interface.

- You want a bright MiniLED set with strong contrast and local dimming.

- You want 144Hz native refresh, VRR, ALLM, and FreeSync Premium Pro, and can live with the reported motion concerns.

- You expect strong built-in sound without considering an external audio system.
- You need more than two HDMI 2.1 connections for high-bandwidth devices.
