Neither Helio G37 nor Helio G35 is a clear all-round winner based on the available evidence. MediaTek publishes a detailed specification sheet for the G35, but not a full G37 sheet in the sources available here. Benchmark aggregators also report conflicting results, and their figures are not controlled tests of the chips in otherwise identical phones. Use the scores as context, then compare the exact handsets you are considering.
What the published specifications establish
MediaTek’s Helio G35 product page provides a detailed list of that chip’s capabilities. The available vendor material does not provide an equivalent full specification sheet for the G37, so a complete, source-backed specification-by-specification comparison is not possible.

MediaTek’s smartphone product-family page identifies the Infinix Hot 30i as powered by the Helio G37. It is an example of a G37 phone, not a complete G37 specification sheet or evidence of current retail availability.

What the benchmark comparisons report
The available benchmark figures do not agree on which chip leads. Treat them as results reported by each source for its listed tests or devices, not as a single controlled head-to-head verdict.

Rank #2
- Carrier: This phone is locked to Tracfone, which means this device can only be used on the Tracfone wireless network. Tracfone plan required, activating is easy, just 3 steps.
- DISPLAY: Immersive viewing on a 6.7-inch super-bright 120Hz display with powerful stereo speakers and Bass Boost for cinematic entertainment.
- CAMERA SYSTEM: Advanced 50MP Quad Pixel camera captures sharp, detailed photos and videos in any lighting condition

| Benchmark | Helio G37 | Helio G35 | What the results show |
|---|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu 11 | 215,798 (four submitted tests) | 200,794 (two submitted tests) | G37 scores higher in this reported set. |
| Geekbench 6 single-core | 198 | 300 | G35 scores higher. |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 868 | 843 | G37 scores higher. |
The small AnTuTu submission counts and the split Geekbench results make it misleading to reduce this comparison to a blanket claim that one chip is faster.

91mobiles’ tested-device comparison, accessed in 2026, reports AnTuTu scores of 138,566 for the G37 and 203,078 for the G35. It reports Geekbench scores of 203/904 for the G37 and 179/976 for the G35. The page associates the figures with tested devices, so they are not a controlled comparison of the two chipsets in otherwise identical phones.

The large gap between these AnTuTu reports and NanoReview’s values is another reason not to average the sources or treat an aggregate score as a guaranteed result for a particular handset. No direct, controlled run on otherwise identical phones is established by these comparisons.
How to choose between phones using these chips
For a purchase decision, compare the actual phone models and regional variants rather than relying on the chipset name alone. The same processor can be paired with different memory, storage, screens, cooling systems, batteries, and software.

- Exact model and region: Confirm the full model number and regional SKU; specifications can differ between variants sold under similar names.
- Memory and storage: Check installed RAM and storage type and capacity, not just the platform options supported by the chip.
- Screen: Compare the handset’s resolution and refresh rate. MediaTek’s maximum G35 display resolution does not establish the panel used in a particular phone.
- Connectivity and cameras: Verify the phone’s implemented wireless features, modem details, and camera configuration rather than assuming every platform capability is present.
- Sustained use: Cooling and device design can affect performance over time; the cited benchmark comparisons do not establish thermal behavior or game-specific frame rates.
- Ownership factors: Compare battery capacity and condition, software support, price, and the phone’s condition if buying used.
What MediaTek’s HyperEngine claim does—and does not—mean
MediaTek says the G35’s HyperEngine feature dynamically manages CPU, GPU, and memory using power, thermal, and gameplay factors. That is the manufacturer’s description of the technology; it does not independently prove a particular game’s frame rate, smoother play, or longer battery life in a specific phone.
