Citation Oasis
The Citation Oasis manual instructs users to press the source control repeatedly until Bluetooth is selected, then hold the control for more than three seconds to enter pairing mode. Go + Play Wireless
The Go + Play Wireless manual says the speaker automatically enters pairing mode when powered on. How do I reconnect a device I paired before?
Pairing is the initial introduction between the source device and speaker. Afterward, they generally remember one another. If they do not reconnect automatically, open the source device’s Bluetooth settings and select the speaker. Some streaming-speaker instructions also call for switching the speaker back to its Bluetooth input. - Pairing mode may not be active. Try the press or long-press specified for your model, or check whether it enters pairing mode automatically when powered on.
- The speaker may be on another input. Select Bluetooth as the input if your model requires it before pairing.
- The listing may use the model name. Look for the product name, such as the examples above, rather than only searching for “Harman Kardon.”
- You may be reconnecting, not pairing for the first time. For a remembered source, select the speaker in Bluetooth settings; if necessary, return the speaker to its Bluetooth input.
- The indicator may look different. A sound or blinking light can indicate pairing mode, but colors and patterns depend on the product. One Harman Kardon support article describes a particular speaker changing from flashing blue during pairing to solid blue after connection; do not apply that pattern to every model.
