What the WRCG933SB offers
Westinghouse describes the WRCG933SB as part of its Forte range, with a glass and stainless-steel finish, touch controls, an LED speed display, auto-off and clean-filter and safety indicators. It has one centrifugal fan, three speeds, two lights and a multilayer aluminium micromesh grease filter listed as dishwasher-safe. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured results. Westinghouse’s product page lists a two-year domestic warranty.

Is the WRCG933SB a good performer?
There is not enough public independent evidence to give it a measured performance verdict. CHOICE has separate ducted and recirculating entries, but the expert rating and detailed test results are behind its member access. The public pages therefore do not establish how it performs relative to other rangehoods.

One detail to verify before buying replacement bulbs or relying on a wattage claim: Westinghouse lists two 40 W lights, while CHOICE describes the lights as 4 W LED. The sources conflict, so confirm the rating on the appliance label or in the model manual rather than treating either figure as settled.
Can it be ducted or recirculated?
Both configurations are listed. Ducting is an optional accessory, with a 150 mm duct diameter and a top duct opening. Westinghouse names AR610RK as a ducting accessory and says an optional extension flue is available. Confirm kit compatibility against the appliance’s product number and current installation guide.

For recirculation, Westinghouse specifies two optional AR610CF carbon filters. CHOICE lists a four-month replacement interval and shows an annual filter price of $45 on its recirculating entry. That price is a page listing, not a current market quote; check present availability and cost before purchase.

Is it discontinued, and what about parts?
Yes. CHOICE labels the WRCG933SB discontinued. Its ducted listing showed a price of $1,099 when accessed in 2026, but that listing does not establish current stock or a current selling price. Westinghouse links to a replacement product; confirm the exact model and whether it suits your installation rather than assuming it is a direct fit.

Do not assume the similarly named WRCG933S is identical. Westinghouse lists that model at 800 m³/h and 65–75 dB, compared with the WRCG933SB’s stated 780 m³/h and 61–71 dB. These are published specifications for different models, not comparative test results.
