Haiqu AgenticOS is a software platform for quantum research and development that combines specialist AI-agent workflows, Haiqu’s quantum SDK, and an execution runtime. Haiqu says it helps teams turn a research question into a structured, reviewable experiment, with researchers able to inspect and approve key decisions. The company announced AgenticOS on May 6, 2026; its published performance examples are vendor-reported, not independently validated.
What is Haiqu AgenticOS?
AgenticOS is Haiqu’s platform for enterprise and scientific quantum R&D. It is designed to help researchers move from an idea or research question toward a tested quantum experiment by coordinating AI agents, quantum software tools, and execution. Haiqu describes the software as hardware-agnostic and intended to work with real quantum hardware; these are the company’s product descriptions, not independently verified specifications. Haiqu’s May 6, 2026 announcement introduced the platform.

The platform’s three stated components are:
- Agentic Intelligence: Haiqu says this handles application design and domain-specific research workflows.
- Haiqu SDK: Tools for tasks such as loading data, optimizing algorithms, and mitigating errors.
- Haiqu Runtime: Orchestration for executing applications.
How does AgenticOS organize a research workflow?
Haiqu’s product page describes a process that can start with a research question, paper, dataset, or existing idea. The system is intended to clarify the objective, constraints, success criteria, and relevant research before organizing work into a graph of specialist-agent teams.
That graph is meant to preserve dependencies, decisions, and artifacts across the project. Researchers can inspect progress, redirect work, comment on assumptions, and approve critical decisions before subsequent steps proceed. Haiqu says its modules draw on its knowledge of quantum theory, algorithms, and industry use cases, along with decisions and artifacts accepted within the project.
#1 Best Overall
The human review points matter because a plausible-looking result is not automatically a scientifically valid one. AgenticOS’s described oversight can make a workflow more inspectable, but it does not by itself establish that an experiment, implementation, or conclusion is correct. That still depends on the research setup and validation.
What results has Haiqu published?
Haiqu has shared examples involving a proton-transfer calculation, a molecular-dynamics simulation, and a simulated quantum-optimization benchmark. They illustrate what the company says AgenticOS can do in particular settings; they do not establish a general accuracy rate, cost saving, or performance advantage.
Rank #2
Proton-transfer calculation
In a case study on a Zundel cation, Haiqu reports an SQD barrier of 554.8 meV against an FCI reference of 574.3 meV, a 3.4% difference for the model studied. The company says the workflow fixed the scientific setup before implementation and then tested code against it. Haiqu also compares the workflow with ten standalone AI runs: all produced working code, but some changed the electron count, geometry, or proton-transfer path. The figures and comparison are Haiqu’s account of this particular case, not evidence of a general product-accuracy rate. The case study is published on Haiqu’s Insights page.

Molecular-dynamics execution
Haiqu’s May 6, 2026 announcement says a molecular-dynamics simulation that had taken more than nine hours and cost $30,000 was reproduced for about $25 in roughly 30 seconds after execution was optimized on its platform. Those numbers describe the company’s test. The announcement says similar results or better appeared in other workload classes, but does not provide comparable workload-by-workload methods or independent replication. They should not be read as a general savings forecast.
Simulated quantum-optimization benchmark
In a separate case study, Haiqu reports that coordinating a Digitized Cyclic Annealing plus Population-Based Search method reduced the remaining distance from the known optimum by approximately 60% compared with independent searches under the same sampling budget. This was a simulated 100-spin benchmark, not a demonstrated real-world optimization gain. Haiqu’s Insights page contains the company’s account.
How strong is the evidence?
The reviewed examples and product descriptions come from Haiqu’s own announcement, product page, and case studies. They provide specific reported results, but the reviewed material does not include an independent product test or third-party replication of these AgenticOS benchmarks. Haiqu’s examples can help readers understand the platform’s intended workflow and the kinds of demonstrations the company highlights; they are not a substitute for independent validation on a team’s own workload.
Rank #4
For a meaningful evaluation, a prospective user would need to establish the scientific setup and success criteria in advance, then assess whether outputs can be reproduced and checked against appropriate references. Useful questions include whether decisions and artifacts remain traceable, where researchers can intervene, which SDK and hardware configurations are supported in practice, and how execution time and cost compare under equivalent conditions. The available sources do not provide cross-vendor evidence for ranking AgenticOS against other quantum-research workflows.

Who can access AgenticOS?
At launch, Haiqu said Capgemini and Deloitte were among organizations receiving early access. The product page offers a trial and a way to contact sales, but the reviewed sources do not state public pricing, current general availability, access conditions, or whether individual researchers and academic groups are eligible. Interested teams should confirm those details directly with Haiqu rather than assume that launch-era early access or a trial offer applies to them now.
