What should you check before installation or cleaning?
Installation
Haier says the oven must be properly installed and earthed by a qualified technician. The guide also describes fixed-wiring and isolating-switch requirements. Use the full installation instructions and local requirements rather than assuming an existing oven connection or cabinet is suitable.

Cooking safety
The guide warns not to put aluminium foil, dishes, trays, water or ice on the oven floor during cooking. It says these can irreversibly damage the enamel and that foil lining may cause a fire. Follow the manual’s placement and accessory instructions.
Pyrolytic cleaning
Before starting a self-clean cycle, remove shelves and cookware and wipe up large food spills or grease. Follow the guide for the complete cycle instructions; do not leave accessories in the cavity or improvise a cleaning procedure.

Haier’s guide recommends original spare parts and says repairs beyond specifically recommended user maintenance should be handled by qualified service.
