The trial’s 15-file allowance is specific to the trial; Gyre’s pricing page does not give a file-count limit for paid plans. It also lists 24/7 stream duration across its plans, but that describes stream operation—not how long an individual uploaded video may be. See Gyre’s pricing page.

Maximum video length, file size, and playlist size
Gyre’s reviewed official pages do not publish a hard maximum runtime or file size for one uploaded video. They also do not state a maximum number of playlist items or whether playlists have a separate size ceiling beyond the account’s storage allowance. So there is no documented figure to rely on for the question “How large can one upload or playlist be?” Check the current upload interface or ask Gyre support to confirm a specific large-file or large-playlist case before preparing it.

How long should a playlist be?
Gyre’s setup guidance recommends at least one hour of total video material and calls three to five hours ideal. This is a recommendation for playlist content, not a technical minimum or maximum imposed by the upload system. Gyre also advises keeping a playlist focused on one topic and avoiding dates or outdated overlays in its videos. Read Gyre’s setup guidance.
A playlist determines what the stream plays and in what order. When the final file ends, the stream starts the playlist again from the beginning, according to Gyre’s 2026 product update.

Video preparation guidance from Gyre
For videos discussed in its setup guide, Gyre gives the following recommended technical characteristics. These are Gyre’s guidance, not universal upload requirements:

- Video bitrate: 3072–6144 kbps
- Audio bitrate: 128 kbps
- Frame rate: 30 or 60 fps
- Audio sample rate: 44.1 kHz
The guide describes uploading from a computer or via a Dropbox or Google Drive link, and using Gyre’s converter or streaming preset to optimize files. Confirm any current format and upload requirements in your account before transferring a large video.

Choosing a plan for a large library
Compare the published storage allowance and playlist access against the material you intend to keep in Gyre. The trial’s up-to-15-file allowance can help evaluate the workflow, but it does not establish a paid-plan file cap. If your project depends on a particular single-file size, runtime, or playlist item count, confirm that limit directly with Gyre rather than inferring it from storage or 24/7 streaming.
