Vice City is its main city, but the setting extends beyond the urban core; Rockstar presents the scope as “Vice City and beyond.” That wording matters because it describes a fictionalized regional setting rather than a licensed recreation of Florida or a promise to reproduce every major attraction.

The first trailer already shows how the approach works. Several scenes contain Miami-inspired architecture, roads, waterways and coastal environments that viewers can recognize as South Florida references. Reporting by Axios identified real Miami locations translated into fictional Vice City. These are visual and cultural cues, not evidence that the real places exist in the game under their real names.

Leonida should therefore be read as a curated version of Florida. Rockstar can combine recognizable geography, exaggerated personalities and invented businesses without following the state’s boundaries or copying its attractions one for one. A landmark may resemble a real site, occupy a different position on the map, serve a different gameplay purpose or exist only as background scenery.

Can you go to Disney World in GTA 6?
There is no confirmation that GTA VI contains Disney World, a direct Disney-branded park or a fully explorable equivalent. Paul MacPherson, Rockstar’s senior vice president of environment art, addressed the Florida-attractions question in an interview with Game Informer, as reported by ComicBook.com: “So, while we may not have those exact locations, everything we have is geared to getting that full Florida experience!”
The statement rules out treating the real Orlando parks as confirmed destinations. It does not establish that every theme-park idea is absent. Rockstar could create a fictional attraction, use a visual allusion, or place a park-like environment in the world without naming or reproducing a real company. None of those possibilities has been announced, so they should remain possibilities rather than features to expect at launch.
There is also no published Rockstar map showing an Orlando resort district, no confirmed park name and no list of rides. Claims that a particular fan-created name is the official Disney parody are speculation unless Rockstar identifies it in an announcement or in the released game.

The same evidence applies to other famous Orlando attractions. Rockstar has not confirmed a Universal Studios recreation, a SeaWorld recreation or a named substitute for either. The absence of a confirmation is different from proof that no amusement, marine-life or studio-tour environment exists; the available information simply does not identify one.

Because GTA locations use fictional names and altered designs, a future attraction could evoke several Florida institutions at once. A boardwalk, resort complex, aquarium, stunt venue or movie-themed district might draw on regional associations without corresponding to one real property. Until Rockstar shows the location or describes it, readers cannot reliably determine whether such a place is a destination, a mission backdrop or distant scenery.

Why does Rockstar fictionalize real Florida landmarks?
MacPherson described a selection process rather than a checklist of famous places. The environment team evaluates “the diversity of landscapes, towns, structures, landmarks, vistas, plant species, rock formations and everything else,” then works with design and narrative teams to choose what best serves the game.
That process explains why a fictional state can feel geographically convincing. Developers can select a highway interchange because it creates a useful chase route, move a waterfront district to improve travel time, or combine architectural details from several neighborhoods into one readable location. A real landmark’s identity may be less important than its role in a mission, its silhouette on the skyline or the way it connects different regions.

Fictional names and altered logos let Rockstar comment on Florida culture while maintaining creative control. Players may recognize a resort’s visual language, a tourist strip’s advertising style or a city’s skyline even when the game uses a different brand. Satire can target traffic, tourism, celebrity culture, environmental debates or local politics rather than a single building.

Gameplay determines what survives the filter
A landmark that looks impressive but offers no useful interaction may be reduced to scenery. Another site may be redesigned around a race, robbery, infiltration or social activity. The selection method means visual resemblance alone cannot tell you whether a location is enterable or important to the story.
What activities are confirmed beyond sightseeing?
Reported Game Informer details indicate that Leonida’s attractions are not limited to driving between landmarks. The reported activities include visiting a zoo, kayaking, street and off-road racing, wrestling, pool, mini-golf and gym workouts. These details demonstrate a broader activity set, but they do not confirm a theme park, an amusement-park ride system or a particular attraction’s level of interactivity.
- Zoo visits: Evidence that animal-focused destinations can be part of the world, without establishing a marine park or amusement park.
- Kayaking: Water-based exploration that fits Florida’s rivers, wetlands and coastal environment.
- Street and off-road racing: Activities that can connect dense city roads with rural or rough-terrain areas.
- Wrestling, pool, mini-golf and gyms: Optional diversions that make the setting feel like a lived-in region rather than a sequence of mission markers.
Until Rockstar demonstrates a specific site, do not infer that every reported activity occurs at a tourist attraction. A zoo visit does not prove a theme-park complex, and mini-golf does not prove an Orlando-style resort. Each feature needs its own confirmation.
How should you interpret a landmark shown in a trailer?
Trailer footage can establish that Rockstar has modeled a particular type of environment, but it may not answer three separate questions: what the place is called, whether it is enterable and what the player can do there. A visible building can be a mission location, a set piece, a distant vista or an exterior that cannot be entered.

- Identify the source reference. Ask whether the resemblance has been reported by a reliable outlet or is only a fan comparison.
- Separate appearance from identity. A Miami-like street does not become a real Miami address inside the game; it is part of fictional Vice City.
- Look for Rockstar’s wording. Official descriptions, developer interviews and gameplay demonstrations carry more weight than map labels circulating online.
- Check interactivity. A location is not confirmed as explorable until Rockstar shows entry, activities or missions there, or the released game verifies it.
- Track the date. Pre-release information can change, and the final map may differ from promotional footage.
What would count as a confirmed GTA 6 theme-park location?
A strong confirmation would include a named fictional attraction in an official trailer, screenshots that clearly show the site, a Rockstar description of activities there, or release footage demonstrating that players can enter it. A reliable interview could also establish the location’s role, but a visual resemblance alone is weaker evidence.
If two or more attraction-style locations are announced, compare them using the same practical questions:

The definitive answer about explorable parks, rides and missions will come from a clear Rockstar announcement or the released game itself.

What should players expect from parody locations overall?
Expect selective references rather than a comprehensive atlas. Rockstar’s stated goal is the “full Florida experience,” achieved through varied landscapes, towns, structures, plants, rock formations, vistas and activities. That can produce a convincing regional identity even when the game invents names, relocates landmarks and compresses distances.
For theme parks specifically, the responsible expectation is open-ended: no exact Disney World, Universal Studios or SeaWorld recreation has been confirmed; an indirect or invented attraction remains possible; and no park map, ride list or named replacement has been published. The game’s confirmed mix of city, countryside, water activities, races, sports and leisure venues gives Rockstar many ways to satirize Florida tourism without reproducing an Orlando resort.
