If by “Googlebook” you mean Google Pixel, the short answer is that Pixel and Samsung Galaxy phones share some features but do not offer identical toolsets. Circle to Search is available on selected models from both brands; assistants, call tools, translation, photo editing, and productivity features depend on the phone and its software. No single feature list applies to every Pixel or Galaxy.
Does Samsung have the same features as Google Pixel?
There is meaningful overlap, but the brands package their tools differently. Google’s Pixel materials highlight Gemini, Call Assist, Live Translate, and Google Photos and camera features. Samsung’s Galaxy S26 materials list Galaxy AI tools such as AI Select, Call Screening, Interpreter, Photo Assist, and Note Assist. Samsung also describes Gemini integration on the S26 series, so an AI assistant is not exclusive to Pixel.

Circle to Search is a Google-powered feature documented for select Android phones, including Pixel 6 and later, and for eligible Galaxy devices. Samsung describes an upgraded multi-object experience for the Galaxy S26 series. That is evidence of shared access to the basic feature on selected phones, not proof that every device supports every advanced use.
#1 Best Overall
- Attention-grabbing design meets the latest evolution of the Google Pixel Camera on the new Google Pixel 11 Pro; Gemini Intelligence helps manage details so you can live in the moment[1]; and the phone is available in two sizes
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan: Works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers[2]
- Stay informed without looking at your screen: When your phone is face down, Pixel HiLight gently alerts you with subtle glowing lights when your favorite contacts are calling or you’re talking with Gemini; exclusive to Google Pixel 11 Pro phones
- Magic Capture catches the moment as you live it: With just one tap, Pixel 11 Pro captures video and photos, and automatically edits, crops, and unblurs a curated collection, ready to share – and you get the memory of how it felt to be in the moment
- Two new cameras for more brilliant photos: A larger telephoto sensor captures 30% more light for clear, beautiful photos and videos, even in the dark[3]; Pixel’s longest zoom ever helps you capture details from impressive distances[4]
Google’s Pixel Help page lists narrower requirements for some uses: camera-app Circle to Search is listed for Pixel 11 models, while virtual try-on is limited to specified Pixel models and countries. Google also warns that the feature may not work in some confidential apps. Samsung’s Galaxy AI support page describes Circle to Search as available on select phones and tablets running Android 14 with One UI 6.1 or later; treat that as the criteria in that support-page snapshot, not a permanent rule for all Galaxy devices.
How the tools differ by task
| Task | Google Pixel examples | Samsung Galaxy examples | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ask an assistant or act on screen content | Google describes Gemini on Pixel, including camera or screen sharing in supported experiences. | Samsung describes Galaxy S26 integration with Gemini and other agents, alongside its Bixby device agent. | Confirm the exact model and supported experience. Google’s Gemini service and Samsung’s device controls are not interchangeable simply because both phones offer AI features. |
| Screen and handle calls | Pixel materials list Call Assist and calling tools. | The Galaxy S26 feature guide lists Call Screening and call transcription or translation. | Check supported model, market, language, carrier, and the specific call workflow; “call assist” does not name one uniform feature across brands. |
| Translate speech or text | Pixel materials highlight Live Translate. | Samsung lists Interpreter and call translation for Galaxy S26. | Verify language support and whether the feature covers an in-person conversation, a call, or another use. |
| Edit or create photos | Google describes asking for edits in Google Photos, Add Me, and camera tools, with availability varying by device. | Samsung lists Photo Assist and Creative Studio, including AI-supported editing and creation tools. | Both brands offer creative features, but the listed descriptions do not establish equal output quality or controls. |
| Take notes, write, or summarize | Google’s Pixel AI materials discuss note-taking and Gemini capabilities; exact functions depend on supported apps and the device. | Samsung lists Note Assist, Writing Assist, and Transcript Assist in its Galaxy AI feature set. | Compare the actual workflow in the apps you use rather than assuming similarly named tools do the same thing. |
Why the exact phone and region matter
Feature names are not enough to establish that a tool will work on a particular handset. Samsung’s Galaxy S26 AI experience support page says availability, supported features, and languages may vary by country, region, carrier, or app; some languages may require a downloaded language pack. It also notes that certain features require a Samsung Account and network connection, terms may differ for enhanced or third-party AI features, and generated output is not guaranteed to be accurate.
Rank #2
- Google Pixel 10a is a durable, everyday phone with more[1]; snap brilliant photography on a simple, powerful camera, get 30+ hours out of a full charge[2], and do more with helpful AI like Gemini[3]
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan; it works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers
- Pixel 10a is sleek and durable, with a super smooth finish, scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 7i display, and IP68 water and dust protection[4]
- The Actua display with 3,000-nit peak brightness shows up clear as day, even in direct sunlight[5]
- Plan, create, and get more done with help from Gemini, your built-in AI assistant[3]; have it screen spam calls while you focus[6]; chat with Gemini to brainstorm your meal plan[7], or bring your ideas to life with Nano Banana[8]
Google’s Circle to Search guidance likewise distinguishes general availability from model- and region-specific uses. For either brand, check the support information for the exact phone, the feature, and your market before relying on a capability shown in a product announcement.

- Name the exact models. “Pixel versus Galaxy” is too broad to settle availability; a capability described for Pixel 11 or Galaxy S26 should not be generalized to every phone in that line.
- Check the task, not just the feature name. For example, determine whether you need live interpretation, call translation, a photo edit, or a note summary.
- Verify conditions for your use. Check country, language, carrier, software version, required app, account, and network requirements in the relevant official support page.
- Compare the workflow you will use. Look at the controls and steps in the apps and settings you rely on; feature labels alone do not establish equivalent behavior.
- Separate availability from quality. Official feature descriptions confirm what manufacturers say is supported, but do not establish which implementation is faster, more accurate, or better.
What the available feature lists can—and cannot—tell you
Google and Samsung’s official materials support a practical comparison of named features and stated eligibility. They do not provide independent head-to-head results showing that comparable tools perform equally well, nor do they establish one universal winner. A purchase decision therefore needs to start with the particular models and the tasks that matter to you, then verify that each feature is supported where and how you intend to use it.
