A leak suggests Google’s Pixel 12 lineup could include four phones, with the biggest reported display change on the Pixel 12 Pro Fold. Its inner screen is said to have a 2296 × 2404 resolution, up from 2076 × 2152 on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The same report lists Android 18 for all four alleged models. Google has not confirmed the devices, specifications or release timing.
What the Pixel 12 leak claims
On October 5, 2026, 9to5Google reported that OVR+ had interpreted entries in the GSMA database as four devices that may correspond to the Pixel 12, Pixel 12 Pro, Pixel 12 Pro XL and Pixel 12 Pro Fold. The report is leak-based: database identifiers do not by themselves confirm a product name or specification, and Google has not announced this lineup.

These are figures attributed to OVR+’s interpretation and repeated in 9to5Google’s coverage, not Google-confirmed specifications. 9to5Google’s report and Digit’s October 6 summary both frame them as leak claims.

Is the Pixel 12 Pro Fold screen actually better?
The leaked numbers point to a higher pixel count in both dimensions for the alleged Fold inner display: 2296 × 2404 versus 2076 × 2152 on its cited predecessor. That is the clearest apparent display change in the report. It does not establish the physical screen size or prove better brightness, color accuracy, durability or crease behavior; those details are not provided.

What the resolution suggests about the shape
9to5Google says the alleged dimensions imply a nearly square inner-screen aspect ratio, rather than a move to a wider unfolded design. That is an inference from leaked resolution figures, not a view of the phone or confirmation of its design. Resolution alone cannot establish the usable shape or viewing experience.
What about the regular Pixel 12 models?
The reported resolutions for the Pixel 12, Pixel 12 Pro and Pixel 12 Pro XL are slightly lower in each dimension than the cited Pixel 11 counterparts. The leak therefore does not point to a resolution increase across the slab-phone models. Pixel counts alone also cannot show whether a panel looks better: panel quality and real-world display performance remain unknown for these alleged devices.

Will the Pixel 12 launch with Android 18?
The leak lists Android 18 for all four alleged phones. This is not confirmation of the software Google will ship, which can only be established through an official announcement or product release. The report’s reasoning is that Android 18 would have debuted before the phones’ expected launch window; that does not verify the eventual launch software or device support.
When could the Pixel 12 series arrive?
Digit’s October 6, 2026 report describes August 2027 as a possible launch window if Google follows its pattern. It is an expectation, not an announced date. Google has not confirmed a launch schedule in the cited reports.

What remains unknown
Until Google reveals the phones or more reliable product details emerge, the leak does not settle:
- Whether the four database entries are the Pixel 12, Pixel 12 Pro, Pixel 12 Pro XL and Pixel 12 Pro Fold.
- The final display specifications, physical dimensions and design.
- Measured panel quality, durability and Fold crease behavior.
- Final launch software, availability, pricing or release date.
For a meaningful Fold comparison, resolution and aspect ratio are only an initial reference. Product testing would be needed to compare display quality and crease behavior, while price and availability require an official announcement. A separate October 6 report from Gadgets 360 also describes the claims as a leak rather than confirmed product details.
