What is Platypus Reclayed?
Platypus Reclayed is a clay-animation shoot-’em-up from Claymatic Games, led by original creator Anthony Flack. Nintendo describes the Switch game as rebuilt for modern hardware, with new artwork, updated gameplay, weapons, and added content. Nintendo UK lists its Switch release date as September 18, 2025. Claymatic’s release announcement lists PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Anthony Flack, Claymatic’s Lead Game Designer, described its design direction this way: “As the industry has shifted towards more complex, feature-rich, lengthier games, we wanted to go in the other direction: providing a one-button shmup that’s fun from the moment you pick it up!” Read the release announcement.
What comes with each physical edition?
The retailer’s current product descriptions identify two physical formats, but list different package details. The feature article also describes a card pack and manual; check the live listing for the specific platform before ordering, since its details may not match every edition.

The October 2, 2026 feature said the Switch physical edition was sold out and the PS5 edition had 30% remaining at the time it was written. That is a dated stock snapshot, not a current inventory count. The retailer’s pages are the relevant place to check present availability; neither the article nor the product pages establish a current price here.
- Confirm the platform and format: Switch cartridge or PS5 disc.
- Review the live listing’s package contents for that edition, rather than assuming the Switch and PS5 boxes match.
- Check the seller, shipping region, shipping cost, and sale terms before checkout.
- Treat any old stock figure as historical unless the retailer displays a current, verifiable status.
Super Rare Games’ product pages state a June 4, 2026 release date for their physical editions. That date identifies the editions’ release, not their current availability. Use the Switch listing or PS5 listing to check the edition you want.
