The Galaxy Tab S12+ includes an S Pen but not a charger. With iPad Air, accessory choices depend on the exact screen size and generation—especially for the Apple Pencil, keyboard and case. Start with what is already in the box, then buy only the accessories that fit your model and how you plan to use it.
What comes in the Galaxy Tab S12+ box?
Samsung’s UK product listing says the box includes the tablet, S Pen, a 1.0 m USB Type-C to Type-C data cable rated at 3 A, an ejection pin and a Quick Start Guide. The charger is not included. That makes the first purchase decision straightforward: you do not need to buy an S Pen to get started with writing or drawing. Consider another stylus only if you want a spare or replacement. If you do need wall power, check the adapter you already own and whether it suits the tablet; otherwise, budget for a compatible charger.

“iPad Air” is not enough information to choose a fitted accessory. Apple’s keyboard and Apple Pencil compatibility varies by model, screen size and generation. Find the exact iPad model in its settings or on the device packaging, then check Apple’s compatibility lists before ordering a Pencil, keyboard or case.

Apple’s cited accessory pages are US-market listings; available products and keyboard layouts can vary by country. The listings do not make one keyboard or case universal across iPad Air sizes and generations.
Which keyboard fits your work style?
Samsung’s two listed S12+ keyboard choices differ in pointer control and design. Both are identified for the Galaxy Tab S12+, but they are not interchangeable with keyboards made for other tablet models. Samsung’s Pro Keyboard listing and Samsung’s Keyboard Slim listing give the product details.

Samsung says keyboard layout can vary by language or model, so confirm the layout before purchase. For iPad Air, compare compatible Magic Keyboard and third-party keyboard cases only after checking the exact size and generation on Apple’s accessories page. The available listings establish compatibility options, not a like-for-like verdict on typing feel, portability or performance.

For the Galaxy Tab S12+, Samsung lists a Book Cover and an Anti-Reflecting Screen Protector, alongside the keyboard options. Choose a cover for carrying and everyday protection; consider the screen protector if reducing reflections matters to you. Verify that the listing names the S12+ specifically before buying.

For iPad Air, select a case or protection accessory only after identifying the exact model. A case that fits one screen size or generation should not be assumed to fit another. Apple’s accessories listing includes cases and protection, but the page alone does not verify fit for an unspecified iPad Air.

- Identify the tablet precisely. For iPad Air, confirm screen size and generation before choosing any fitted accessory; for the S12+, select accessories explicitly listed for that model.
- Check what is in the box. The S12+ includes its S Pen and USB-C cable, but not a charger. For iPad Air, confirm the retail package rather than assuming an adapter is included.
- Choose input accessories around your use. Skip an extra S Pen unless you need a spare. For Samsung typing, choose the Pro Keyboard if you want a trackpad or the Slim if you prefer its simpler, POGO-powered design. For iPad Air, verify Pencil and keyboard fit with Apple first.
- Add protection that matches the device. Pick a fitted cover or protector only after checking its listed compatibility.
