A reliable price difference cannot be calculated from the available official figures because they cover different countries and no dependable M47 price is established.

Which phone has the better display?
Both regional listings specify a 120Hz FHD+ Super AMOLED display. The Korean A37 listing gives a 6.7-inch diagonal. Samsung India gives the M47’s display dimensions as 16.91 cm across the full rectangle and 16.45 cm when measured around rounded corners. These measurements describe slightly different ways of stating screen size, so they do not establish a meaningful viewing-quality advantage. The published specifications also do not establish brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor readability.
How do the camera systems compare?
Galaxy A37 5G
The South Korean specification lists a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera, plus a 12MP front camera.

Galaxy M47 5G
The India listing specifies 50MP, 5MP, and 2MP rear cameras, identifies OIS, and lists a 12MP front camera. The captured specifications do not assign the three rear-camera resolutions to particular camera roles.
Both listings therefore confirm a 50MP main-resolution tier and OIS, but megapixels alone cannot establish which phone takes better photos or video. No independent image comparisons or camera tests are established here.

Does the M47’s battery capacity mean longer battery life?
Samsung lists a 6,000mAh typical battery for the M47 in India, versus 5,000mAh for the A37 in South Korea. Samsung also gives the M47’s rated minimum as 5,882mAh. The M47’s published capacity is higher, but capacity is not a battery-life test: screen use, network conditions, software, and other factors affect how long a phone lasts between charges. These figures do not prove a particular runtime advantage.

Which is easier to carry?
The listed A37 weighs 196g and the M47 206g, a 10g difference between these regional specifications. The cited materials do not provide matching dimensions for both variants, so weight is the clearest supported portability comparison.

What do the software-support claims establish?
Samsung’s South Korean A37 launch listing identifies Android 16, but does not provide a comparable long-term update commitment in the cited release. Samsung India explicitly states that the M47 will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from its first global launch, while noting that policies can change. Do not assume the A37 has the same term—or infer that it has less support—based only on the cited launch material.
What is the price difference?
There is no fair direct price difference to report from these figures. Samsung announced the A37 at $449.99 starting in the United States, and separately listed the South Korean 6GB/128GB version at ₩598,400. The M47 evidence is for India, where the captured official product pages do not establish a dependable current price. Different markets, currencies, configurations, dates, taxes, and promotions make those A37 figures unsuitable for comparison with an India M47 listing.

Availability and regional differences
Samsung’s U.S. announcement says the A37 became available on April 9, 2026, from $449.99 and identifies Awesome White as available at Amazon.com. Samsung Korea announced its release for June 19, 2026, with a 6GB/128GB listing at ₩598,400. These are market-specific availability and price details, not global terms. Samsung’s India pages document M47 variants in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB configurations. Verify the exact local model and configuration before using a regional specification or price to judge a phone sold elsewhere.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the A37 if the South Korean listing’s lighter 196g body or its stated ultrawide rear camera better fits your priorities. Confirm that your local version has the same specifications.
- Consider the M47 if the India listing’s 6,000mAh typical battery, available memory/storage configurations, or explicitly stated software-support policy matters most to you.
- Decide on price only after checking locally. The available official figures do not provide a same-country, same-date comparison of equivalent configurations.
These are specification-based distinctions, not a verdict on real-world speed, gaming, camera quality, or battery endurance; no independent tests are established here.
