What do Fortnite quests reward?
Epic Games Player Support says each quest has a reward, usually XP, level-ups, or cosmetic items. The available quests appear in the lobby’s Quests area, and some Fortnite experiences have quests of their own. The active quest list and its exact payouts vary; Epic’s general guidance does not establish which quests or reward amounts are live for a particular season. Epic’s guide to completing Fortnite quests explains where to find them.

How does quest XP affect Battle Pass progress?
Quests are one of several ways to earn XP. Epic also lists ordinary match play, Kickstart quests, eligible Creative maps, Supercharged XP, periodic Double XP events, and Victory Crown match bonuses. Daily quests reset each day and Weekly quests refresh Tuesday, according to Epic’s support guidance; these schedules and optional bonuses can change. Check the current Quests area and in-game notices rather than assuming a particular bonus or payout is available. Epic’s XP guide lists the sources.

XP earned in any Fortnite experience progresses all active passes simultaneously, including the Battle Pass and other passes. That shared progression is not the same as access to premium rewards: each pass generally requires its own purchase, unless access is included with Fortnite Crew. Epic explains how Fortnite pass progress works.

How pass rewards unlock and get claimed
As you gain levels, pass rewards become available according to their level and any other listed requirements. Unlocking a reward and claiming it are separate steps. Some rewards require claiming earlier rewards first; once eligible, rewards can be claimed in any order. Passes also offer an auto-claim option for the next available reward. Epic’s Battle Pass overview describes reward pages and claiming.
What to check if a reward is missing
A level-up does not necessarily mean every reward is immediately claimable. Check the reward’s level requirement, whether earlier rewards need to be claimed, and whether you have the required paid pass. Bonus Rewards can have additional level and claim prerequisites, as well as an active paid Battle Pass requirement.

- Open the relevant pass and check the level and prerequisite shown for the reward.
- Claim any unclaimed earlier rewards if the pass requires them.
- Confirm that you have access to the paid pass, particularly for Bonus Rewards.
- If the reward still does not appear after those checks, restart Fortnite. This is Epic’s troubleshooting recommendation for a reward that fails to show. See Epic’s Bonus Rewards troubleshooting guidance.
Season deadlines and Bonus Rewards
Battle Pass XP progression for a season stops when that season ends. Progress can continue beyond level 100 while the season is active, but Bonus Rewards may require further levels and other prerequisites. Epic’s general support information does not establish the current season’s end date, active quest list, exact XP payouts, or current reward total, so consult the in-game pass and quest screens for those season-specific details. Epic’s level-100 guidance covers progression and additional rewards.
Do quests give V-Bucks?
Some pass rewards include V-Bucks, but quest XP itself should not be confused with a direct V-Bucks grant. Quest Packs have their own rules: a V-Bucks pack grants its V-Bucks without a quest requirement, while a Quest Pack identified by a book-and-V-Bucks icon requires quest progress. Epic says most Quest Packs require completing three Global Daily Bonus Goals per day, and only three such goals are available daily. Check the pack’s displayed requirements in-game. Epic’s Quest Pack instructions explain the distinction.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.

Pass prices, contents, and older rewards
Pass names, prices, contents, and season timing can change. When Epic’s support page was accessed on October 4, 2026, it listed the Battle Pass at 800 V-Bucks, the OG Pass at 800 V-Bucks, and the LEGO Pass and Music Pass at 1,200 V-Bucks each. These are support-page listings at that date, not a guarantee of current in-game prices. The page says passes last one season and describes rewards such as outfits, V-Bucks, and emotes; the rewards offered depend on the pass. It also says a Battle Pass bundle includes 25 rewards at a discount rate. Verify the current price and contents in Fortnite before purchasing. Epic’s pass guide covers the pass types.
Epic says some Battle Pass items may become available in the Fortnite Shop at least 18 months after the pass expires. That is not a promise that every past item will return, or that all of its styles will be offered.
