Look for the Birthday Sprite in Rare Chests or through Cheat Codes. Recent guides recommend trying Temple Vaults near the Mega Maze Landmark and Stone Sanctum, but these are search suggestions—not guaranteed spawn points. The Sprite is reported to give chest openings a chance to produce Birthday Cake slices, with eliminations also able to produce cake at maximum level.
Where to find the Birthday Sprite
Start by searching Rare Chests and checking for Cheat Codes. A Beebom guide published September 26, 2026, calls out Temple Vaults near the Mega Maze Landmark and Stone Sanctum as promising areas to try: How to Get Birthday Sprite in Fortnite. All Things How also suggests searching around Fortnite Birthday Cake locations, while describing that as a tactic rather than a guaranteed spawn rule: Fortnite Birthday Sprite Location and How to Get It (September 26).

- Prioritize Rare Chests and Cheat Codes.
- Try the named Temple Vault areas and locations near Birthday Cakes, but be ready to search elsewhere.
- Check the current match: map placement and item availability can change.
These Birthday Sprite-specific locations come from recent third-party guides. Epic’s general Sprite support page does not confirm them, and none of the named areas is established as a guaranteed spawn.

Recent guides report that opening chests while using the Birthday Sprite can produce Birthday Cake slices, and that the chance improves as the Sprite levels. At maximum level, eliminations can reportedly produce cake as well. The guides do not establish an authoritative drop percentage, so there is no verified rate to rely on.

How to use and level a Sprite
Find and equip a Sprite during a match to receive its power. Epic says Sprites can be leveled through exploration, eliminations, and surviving the Storm. That is general Sprite guidance; the official page does not detail a Birthday Sprite-specific pickup, leveling curve, or cake drop chance.
