What you are changing Where to find the URL control
Blog post Blog management → post ellipsis → post settings → General tab
Regular page Pages and navigation → page ellipsis → Page URL

The page route changes a page slug; it is not the route for a blog post. Support: Change a page URL also directs blog post URL changes to the blog post settings.

What to check after saving

Save the setting and update the website so the edited URL is reflected online. The instructions explain how to publish the change, but do not say whether the previous URL automatically redirects or how the change affects search indexing. Do not assume the old address will continue to work or that indexing will be preserved. Support: Blog post settings
