The right FitnessKPI alternative depends on what you use it for: choose Hevy for a detailed gym log with progress charts and social features, Fitbod for adaptive strength-workout recommendations, Strong for straightforward strength logging, Strava for endurance activities, or MyFitnessPal if nutrition tracking is central. FitnessKPI’s current features and export options could not be verified, so treat these as options by use case—not confirmed feature-for-feature replacements.
Choose an alternative by what you track
First list the FitnessKPI functions you actually rely on: for example, recording sets and reps, reviewing progress, planning workouts, tracking runs or rides, or connecting food and activity data. Then compare apps against those needs. The available FitnessKPI information does not establish its feature set, supported platforms, export formats, or migration routes.

Fitbod: strength programming as well as logging
Fitbod is the stronger fit to investigate if you want an app to recommend strength workouts rather than simply record a plan you already have. In a guide published March 9, 2026, Fitbod says its workout generation uses goals, training history, available equipment, experience, and muscle recovery. The guide also describes custom workout logging and progress measures for overall strength, muscle strength, and exercise-level estimated strength. Depending on the movement, metrics can include volume, reps, weight, time, distance, and pace-related measures.
Those capabilities are described by Fitbod, not established through an independent app comparison. Check whether its recommendations suit your equipment and training preferences, and review current subscription terms before relying on it as your planner.

When Strong, Strava, or MyFitnessPal makes more sense
Strong for a program you already follow
Fitbod’s guide characterizes Strong as a straightforward strength log. It may be worth considering if you want to record gym sessions without making generated programming the main feature. Confirm that its current templates, history views, watch workflow, and export options cover your routine.
Strava for endurance activity
The same guide suggests Strava for running, cycling, hiking, and other endurance activities, particularly where routes and community matter. Check that it supports the activity and GPS workflow you use and that the social and subscription features fit your expectations.
MyFitnessPal for nutrition plus activity
MyFitnessPal is the option to assess when food or macro tracking needs to sit alongside activity data. Before moving your routine there, confirm the integrations you need and whether its workout-planning depth is sufficient for you.
Check data portability and wearable support before switching
A third-party comparison updated April 20, 2026 recommends checking data exports and Apple Watch workflows before committing to a tracker. It describes Strong as a classic strength log, Hevy as a social modern log, and Fitbod as a workout planner. Treat those labels as screening cues, then verify details in the apps’ current first-party documentation. See the comparison guide.

- List the records you need to keep. Identify workout history, measurements, notes, and any other data that matters to you.
- Look for an export route in FitnessKPI. The available information does not establish FitnessKPI’s export formats or whether another app can import them. Do not assume a direct migration exists.
- Confirm the watch workflow. Check support for your specific watch and phone combination, including whether sessions can be logged offline if that matters to you. Hevy specifically describes Apple Watch and Wear OS support; verify current compatibility with Hevy.
- Test the essential workflow before abandoning the old log. Record a representative session, review the resulting history and charts, and confirm that any integrations you rely on are available.
- Check current terms and limits. Confirm availability in your region, subscription requirements, and whether the features you need are included in the plan you choose.
A paper workout log is an option if you prefer handwriting
A workout log book, weightlifting journal, or strength training workout log can work for someone who wants to record sessions by hand. Hevy’s listed fields and Fitbod’s discussion of digital logbooks illustrate useful items to capture: exercises, sets, reps, load, notes, and progress over time. A paper journal does not provide app charts, community features, wearable syncing, or automated workout planning.
What is not established about FitnessKPI
No reliable first-party FitnessKPI documentation was identified for its tracking features, platform support, export formats, or migration options. That means there is not enough verified information to say which app is a direct replacement or whether your existing data can move. Compare the alternatives against your own FitnessKPI workflow and confirm portability before switching.
Fitness apps can record or organize workouts, but the product descriptions cited here do not establish that using any one app causes better fitness outcomes or adherence.
