Its standout features are an adjustable-angle earpiece design and five included eartip sizes. Final promotes it for locating sounds in 3D binaural game audio, but the available product information does not independently verify directional accuracy or a competitive advantage.
What the Final VR500 for Gaming is
Final identifies the earphone as model FI-VR5DPL. Its small in-ear form factor may suit someone who prefers earbuds to an over-ear headset, but it is not a wireless gaming headset and the product information does not establish compatibility with every gaming device.

How to interpret Final’s gaming and sound claims
Final says it designed the VR500 to reproduce the direction and position of sound objects in 3D binaural audio and describes it as suitable for genres such as FPS and fighting games. The company also characterizes its sound space as comparatively compact and says multiple sound objects are clearly separated relative to other models in its VR range. These are manufacturer descriptions, not independently verified measurements or proof that the earphones improve performance in a particular game.

Spatial cues also depend on the game’s audio mix and the device or software processing the sound. The available information does not establish how accurately the VR500 places footsteps, effects, or other sounds across specific games or platforms.
Fit and microphone: what to check
The earpieces use what Final calls a swing-fit mechanism, allowing their angle to adjust toward the ear canal. Five sizes of Type E eartips are included. These design choices give you options for positioning and tip size, but they cannot guarantee a comfortable or secure fit for every ear.

The inline microphone and one-button controller are described by Final as supporting music controls and hands-free calls. The product page does not provide a definitive gaming-chat compatibility list for PCs, consoles, phones, or controller jacks. One customer review excerpt on the Japanese product page reports that the microphone did not work on that reviewer’s PC; that is an individual experience, not a universal compatibility finding. Check the connector and microphone support on your exact device before relying on it for chat.
Price and availability depend on the market
Final’s Japanese official store page showed a price of ¥3,980 and four customer reviews when checked for this article. That is a snapshot of the Japanese page, not a current global price or guarantee of availability. Final’s November 2023 launch announcement stated an initial price of ¥2,980 including tax and named the official web store and Amazon Japan as launch channels. That historical announcement does not establish current stock or pricing on Amazon Japan or in other markets.

- It may suit you if you want wired in-ear gaming audio, value an inline microphone, and prefer choosing among several included eartip sizes.
- Check carefully first if you need confirmed chat support on a particular PC, console, or controller, or need a cable longer than 1.2 m.
- Look elsewhere if you specifically need an over-ear headset or wireless connection; the VR500 is a wired earphone.
- Keep expectations measured if your main reason for buying is a proven competitive advantage from directional audio: Final makes positioning claims, but independent game-performance results are not established here.
