A separate official ENS documentation result concerns EP 5.27, a proposal about removing the DAO’s ability to upgrade the Name Wrapper after a vulnerability was identified. It is a different governance matter and should not be treated as evidence about ENSv2 activation, registration policy, migration timing, or ENS Labs’ administrative roles.

ENS support documentation identifies app.ens.domains as the official application for registering or managing an ENS name. That service information is useful for ordinary name management, but it does not confirm that ENSv2 activation has been proposed or approved.

- Who submitted the proposal, when it was published, and whether it is a draft, discussion, or formal vote.
- Whether it actually stops new ENSv1 registrations, and the conditions and timing for any change.
- How existing .eth names are treated, including whether migration is optional, required, or subject to a deadline.
- Which ENSv2 administrative roles would be transferred to the DAO and what authority the DAO would hold.
- What vote result and activation conditions are required before any change takes effect.
