Why some S-tier Lieutenants stand out
Skills can contribute value through control, support, or defense—not only direct damage. Pocket Gamer gives reasons for some placements, and the official game site provides skill descriptions that help explain those roles.
#1 Best Overall
- Package including 1pc foldable card inside with 1pc envelope
- Size:Measuring 4.5x6.5 inches and includes an eco-friendly Kraft envelope, this card is the perfect addition to any birthday gift.
- Quality materials: Birthday cards and envelopes are made of high-quality paper. The card front surface has the special texture of drawing paper, which is comfortable to touch, safe and tasteless, durable and can be stored for a long time.
Karetta: control and critical buffs
Pocket Gamer describes Karetta as combining a three-second freeze with critical buffs. The official Lieutenant page spells the name “Karleta,” and says Eternal Ice Jail freezes a target for three seconds while Power of Frost raises Crit Chance and Crit DMG for the Lieutenant and Hero. The spelling differs between sources; do not assume it means two separate Lieutenants without checking the game client.
Demonic Wolf: damage over time and finishing potential
Pocket Gamer points to Demonic Wolf’s damage that increases as an enemy loses HP and a six-second bleed. The official game site specifically says Wolf Tail causes Bleed for six seconds. Treat those as skill descriptions, not as evidence of a guaranteed outcome in every fight.

Delphyne: healing and enemy debuff
Pocket Gamer highlights Delphyne’s healing for the ally with the lowest health and reduction of enemy damage reduction. The official description of Enchanting Torture also names those effects. This gives her a support role alongside her contribution to weakening an opponent.
Ruins Guardian: protection
Pocket Gamer describes Ruins Guardian as providing shields and damage reduction. Those defensive effects can matter to a team’s survival, although the tier-list entry does not establish how much they change results in a particular mode or team composition.

Nora: defense-ignoring attack
Pocket Gamer cites Nora’s attack that ignores 50% of enemy defense. The official game page attributes that effect to Phantom Combo. The figure is the stated skill mechanic, not an independent damage test.
Archmage Herbert and Bridget: team support and debuffing
The official site says Archmage Herbert’s Fire Blessing heals allies and increases attack speed. Bridget’s Exorcism Bolt lowers enemy damage reduction. Pocket Gamer ranks Herbert in S and Bridget in A, but the official skill page describes abilities; it does not validate those tier placements. Pocket Gamer also characterizes Herbert as exclusive and costly to develop. Check acquisition and development conditions in the live game before planning around that description.

How to use the tiers when choosing a Lieutenant
A tier is a broad editorial judgment, not a complete answer to which Lieutenant you should use. Compare the skill’s job with what your team needs:
- Need to disrupt an enemy? Consider control effects such as Karetta/Karleta’s freeze, or effects that weaken an opponent.
- Need more damage pressure? Demonic Wolf’s bleed and low-health damage emphasis, or Nora’s defense-ignoring attack, are examples of offensive tools named by the guides.
- Need support or staying power? Delphyne’s healing and debuff, Archmage Herbert’s healing and attack-speed increase, and Ruins Guardian’s shields and damage reduction illustrate different forms of team utility.
- Considering investment? Verify a Lieutenant’s current acquisition and upgrade requirements in the game. Availability and development cost can affect whether a highly ranked unit is practical for your account.
These are comparison axes based on published skill descriptions, not a tested formula for calculating a tier or predicting every battle. Pocket Gamer offers little or no reasoning for some entries, including Eurydica, so a more specific explanation for those placements is not established by the guide.

Why tier lists disagree
Pocket Gamer is not the only publisher with a ranking. BlueStacks places Ser Charlie, Bridget, Ruins Guardian, Archmage Herbert, and Karetta in S tier; its A tier includes Agony Interrogator, Valen Soldier, Cabal Hellcaller, and Harpy, while Skeleton Archer and Winged Fiend appear in B. That roster and ordering differ from Pocket Gamer’s version 1.5.1 list. BlueStacks says it considers base rarity, base stats, abilities, and community sentiment, whereas Pocket Gamer names effectiveness, skills, and damage output. The BlueStacks publication date is not established in the reviewed material, so its list should not be treated as a newer counter-ranking.
The official Dungeon Hunter 6 Lieutenant page is useful for checking skill text; it does not publish or endorse either guide’s tier judgments. Skill details and the game itself can change, so confirm the version and in-game descriptions before making resource decisions.
