Yes. The PS5 version launched on September 22, 2026, and the PlayStation Store lists it as a PS5 title. The complete game, story, and features are available in single-player; you can also play with friends or on public servers. Funcom’s launch materials describe PvP as optional in multiplayer, while single-player has no PvP. Check the PlayStation Store listing for the US storefront’s current platform and online-feature details. Online features require a PlayStation account and are subject to PlayStation terms and privacy policy, so do not assume every mode is offline. How should you approach crafting and your first base?
Think of your first base as practical infrastructure: a place to support crafting and progression, not a showcase build that must be perfect from the start. The PlayStation Store describes personal bases ranging from small outposts to large strongholds, with crafting machines and spice refineries. Funcom says progression can bring fabricators, refineries, power generators, and wind and water machinery. The important distinction is that these systems are added as you advance; do not expect every machine to be available immediately.

The latest launch announcement says players can save bases and that protections against base and vehicle loss have changed. Funcom also described upscaled 4K in both modes. If you are deciding between the base PS5 modes, the announced targets distinguish a higher frame-rate Performance Mode from a 30 fps Quality Mode; choose according to your preference and check the current game settings for the available options on your console.
