A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11The Dreaming City shares core patrol activities with other Destiny 2 destinations, but its Blind Well, Shattered Throne dungeon, and Last Wish raid give it distinct ways to play and earn rewards. The clearest difference is the activity and reward structure: public events and Lost Sectors are common destination activities, while dungeon and raid rewards are tied to those specific endgame activities. Bungie’s 2026 destination update describes reward tiers, but the official pages reviewed do not establish a complete current Dreaming City drop table or exact odds.
What the Dreaming City shares with other destinations
Bungie’s current activity guide describes public events and Lost Sectors as activities shared across destinations. Public events take place in patrol zones; completing the hidden objective that makes an event Heroic improves its rewards. Lost Sectors offer another patrol-zone activity, though the reviewed official material does not provide a current Dreaming City-specific reward list.

Destination loot is not limited to a single activity type. Bungie says most destinations have unique gear as well as weapons from the World Loot Pool, earned through Legendary engrams that drop during general gameplay. That is broad destination guidance, not a list of Dreaming City items. Bungie’s Director guide explains the general destination reward framework.
What is distinctive about the Dreaming City
Blind Well
Blind Well is the Dreaming City’s named special public event in Bungie’s current destination overview. Bungie groups it with activities such as Altars of Sorrow and Terminal Overload as a unique destination activity with tiered rewards. This gives the Dreaming City a destination-specific public-event loop alongside shared public events and Lost Sectors. The reviewed guide does not give a complete current activity list, unlock instructions, or an item-by-item Blind Well loot table. Bungie’s activity overview distinguishes shared activities from destination-specific ones.
#1 Best Overall
- From the makers of the acclaimed hit game Destiny, comes the much-anticipated sequel
- An action shooter that takes you on an epic journey across the solar system
- Humanity’s last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force, led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion
- To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity’s scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home
The Shattered Throne dungeon
The Shattered Throne is a dungeon, a different format from patrol activities and public events. Bungie describes dungeons as boss-focused activities with unique gear available only from the dungeon. Its Forsaken page highlights Wish-Ender as a Shattered Throne reward. That establishes the dungeon’s reward identity, but the cited page does not establish current access requirements or a full live loot table. Bungie’s Forsaken page connects Wish-Ender with The Shattered Throne.
Last Wish raid
Last Wish is a raid, not a destination patrol activity. Bungie describes raids as six-player activities with exclusive weapons and armor, and its Forsaken page associates One Thousand Voices with Last Wish. These raid rewards are therefore distinct from the general destination reward framework. The cited material does not provide a current complete raid drop table or drop probabilities. Bungie’s Forsaken page connects One Thousand Voices with Last Wish.

How the announced destination reward tiers compare
In a May 28, 2026 update, the Destiny 2 Team said pre-Edge of Fate destinations received refreshed loot, including new perks, tiered weapons for non-craftable pools, and set bonuses themed to destinations. The same announcement describes these public-event reward tiers:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:

|---|---|
| Base completion | Tier 3 |
| Heroic completion | Tier 4 |
| Individual drop upgrade | Can upgrade as high as Tier 5 |
| Activity during a Distortion | Rewards increase by one tier |
These figures are tier labels from Bungie’s 2026 announcement, not percentages or guarantees that a specific item will drop. The announcement directs players to patch notes for details on unique activities, so it should be read as the announced framework rather than a complete statement of every live Dreaming City reward. | The Shattered Throne | Dreaming City dungeon | Dungeons have unique gear; Wish-Ender is associated with this dungeon. |
| Last Wish | Dreaming City raid | Raids offer exclusive weapons and armor; One Thousand Voices is associated with this raid. |
| Exact current item odds | Not established by the cited guides | Current Dreaming City-specific drop probabilities are not stated. |
What this means when choosing what to play
- For a quick patrol activity: public events and Lost Sectors fit the shared destination loop; a Heroic public event has the better reward tier in Bungie’s announced framework.
- For the Dreaming City’s distinctive public-event activity: choose Blind Well, while checking current in-game activity details for the live reward pool.
- For activity-specific endgame gear: The Shattered Throne and Last Wish have separate dungeon and raid reward identities, respectively.
Do not treat the destination-wide tier announcement as a precise item-by-item guide. The official material cited here does not establish current Dreaming City-specific odds or a complete live reward table; for those details, consult the applicable current patch notes or the in-game activity reward descriptions.
