Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →For a Logitech K350, the download most owners need is Logitech SetPoint Software. Logitech’s K350 guide names SetPoint for enabling and customizing the keyboard’s F-keys, Zoom keys, Vista keys and media keys. If the keyboard itself is not responding, the download alone is not enough: check the two AA batteries, power switch, Unifying receiver and wireless pairing as well.
Use Logitech’s official support and download hub, search for K350 (or the product/part number), and install only a package hosted on a Logitech domain. The K350 is a legacy Unifying keyboard, so do not assume that the current Options or Options+ application supports it.

What the Logitech K350 “driver” actually is
Windows can treat many keyboards as standard human-interface devices, but the K350’s special keys require Logitech software for their intended functions. The official K350 documentation specifically directs users to Logitech SetPoint Software to enable and customize:

SetPoint is therefore the K350-specific path for hotkey control. It is different from a generic keyboard entry in Windows Device Manager: a basic device entry may indicate that the keyboard is detected, while SetPoint supplies Logitech’s customization controls.
#1 Best Overall
- Built for Comfort : Designed for all-day typing, the wireless keyboard has an oversized, cushioned palm rest, familiar deep-profile keys, ergonomic curved key frame and adjustable tilt legs
- Programmable hot keys : The things you do most are right at your fingertips with 17 multimedia and hot keys for instant access to the Internet, e-mail, play/pause music, volume and more
- Up to three years of battery life : Powered by two AAA batteries with a 3-year lifespan, this keyboard will help you conquer work in comfort. Can be used with wired, wireless, Bluetooth or gaming mice
- Tiny Logitech Unifying receiver : Small enough to stay in your PC or laptop computer and connect whenever you need it. Plus, you can easily add another compatible mouse, keyboard or number pad-without the hassle of multiple USB receivers
Logitech’s current Options page is aimed at newer supported devices. It lists Windows 10 or higher and macOS 11 or higher requirements, but the K350 is not shown in the displayed supported-keyboard list. Unless Logitech’s support search presents a newer replacement for your exact K350, treat legacy SetPoint as the appropriate software route.
Before you download
Confirm the model
Look at the label on the keyboard or its original packaging and verify that it says K350. If you still have the product or part number, keep it available; Logitech’s support hub can search by product name, model number or part number. This matters because similarly named Logitech keyboards can use different software.
Check the Windows edition
On Windows, press Win+R, enter winver, and record the edition and release shown. You can also open Settings > System > About. The retrieved Logitech material does not establish a current K350-specific installer version or a definitive Windows 10/11 support statement, so record your version rather than assuming compatibility.

- ERGONOMIC WAVE DESIGN – The MK550 uses Logitech’s Constant Curve layout for reduced stress and better, more natural typing. The layout is familiar, so there is little to no learning curve to begin using it fluidly
- Hand-friendly laser mouse: Contoured sides and soft rubber grips keep your hand comfortable, supported, and in control. Youll enjoy smooth, precise tracking on virtually any surface.
- Logitech Unifying receiver: The tiny wireless receiver stays in your laptop—theres no need to unplug it when you move around—and connects both the keyboard and mouse
- Advanced 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity: So you can work or play in more places—like your comfy couch—the long-range wireless connection virtually eliminates delays, dropouts, and interference.
Inspect the hardware first
Turn the keyboard’s power switch on. The K350 uses two AA alkaline batteries; replace them if they are old, leaking or weak. Find the small Logitech Unifying receiver and make sure it is inserted directly into a working USB port. If the receiver is behind a metal computer case, a hub or another source of interference, move it to a nearby port with a clearer path to the keyboard.
How to download the official K350 software
- Open Logitech’s official support/download hub. Start from Logitech’s own support site rather than a driver-aggregation or “download” mirror.
- Search for K350. If several results appear, select the keyboard entry that matches your model or enter the product/part number printed on the device.
- Review the downloads shown for your operating system. Choose the installer identified for your Windows edition. If the page exposes a K350 download, the file should be hosted on a Logitech domain.
- Look for SetPoint when you need hotkeys. Logitech’s K350 guide explicitly names Logitech SetPoint Software for customizing the keyboard’s special keys.
- Save the installer locally. Keep the original file until you have confirmed that the keyboard and its hotkeys work. If the support page offers no K350 package, do not substitute a random executable from a third-party site; use the troubleshooting steps below and check the support listing again by part number.
Because the K350 is a legacy product, the exact download label, regional page and installer availability can change. A missing listing is not evidence that an unrelated current keyboard package will work.
Install SetPoint safely
- Disconnect unnecessary USB devices temporarily if your computer has very few available ports, but leave the K350’s Unifying receiver connected.
- Close other installers and save open work.
- Run the Logitech SetPoint installer obtained from the official support result. Follow its prompts and allow Windows to complete the installation.
- If Windows blocks the file, use the file’s properties to confirm that it came from Logitech before choosing any administrator option. Do not disable security software simply to force an installer from an unknown source.
- Restart Windows after installation, even if the installer does not insist on a restart. A restart lets the Logitech service and keyboard configuration load cleanly.
- Open SetPoint and select the K350 if it is listed. Assign or verify actions for the F-keys, Zoom keys, Vista keys and media keys. Apply the changes, then test each key in a text editor, browser or media application.
SetPoint’s purpose here is configuration, not a promise that a physically failed keyboard or receiver will be repaired. If Windows does not detect the keyboard at all, work through the hardware and pairing checks before reinstalling software repeatedly.

If the K350 does not work after installation
1. Recheck power and batteries
Switch the K350 off, wait a few seconds and switch it on again. Remove both AA batteries, inspect the contacts and install fresh alkaline cells in the indicated orientation. A keyboard with insufficient power can appear completely dead or connect intermittently.
2. Move the Unifying receiver
Unplug the receiver and try another USB port, preferably one directly on the computer rather than a monitor or unpowered hub. Keep the receiver away from large metal objects and other wireless equipment. Test the keyboard after each change so you know which step helped.
3. Re-establish the wireless connection
Logitech’s K350 guide recommends using Logitech Unifying software to reconnect the receiver when the keyboard is not working. Start that utility, follow its on-screen pairing instructions, and switch the K350 off and on when prompted. Type in the requested confirmation text if the utility asks for it, then finish the pairing process.

- Meet the comfort combo: Get comfier with the Wave Keys Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard paired with the Signature M550 L Wireless Mouse - a great fit for medium- to large-sized hands
- Compact keys: Wave Keys’ compact size allows you to bring your mouse closer to your body, resulting in a more natural shoulder position compared to a full size keyboard
- Type in comfort all day long: The wavy design of this compact keyboard places your hands, wrists and forearms in a natural typing position for all-day comfort

- Less noise, more focus: On top of its sculpted design and rubber grip, this quiet mouse uses SilentTouch technology to make workdays more peaceful with 90% less click noise (7)
4. Restart and test before changing more settings
Restart Windows with the receiver connected. Test ordinary letter keys first, then test the special keys after SetPoint loads. This separates a wireless connection problem from a hotkey-configuration problem.
5. Check whether only the hotkeys are affected
If letters and numbers work but F-keys, Zoom, Vista or media keys do not, the radio connection is probably functioning. Open SetPoint, choose the K350 profile and verify that those keys have actions assigned. Reapply the settings and restart once more. If SetPoint cannot see the keyboard, return to the receiver-pairing step.

Choosing between SetPoint and current Logitech software
| Software path | K350 targeting | Operating-system information | Hotkey customization | What to expect |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Logitech SetPoint Software | Explicitly named in the K350 guide | Legacy package; a current K350-specific Windows support statement and version number are not established | F-keys, Zoom keys, Vista keys and media keys | Use this first when Logitech’s support search offers it for your K350 |
| Logitech Options or Options+ | K350 is not shown in the displayed supported-keyboard list on the current Options page | The page lists Windows 10 or higher and macOS 11 or higher | Varies by supported device | Do not install it expecting K350 support unless Logitech’s current product page specifically identifies your keyboard |
| Windows’ basic keyboard handling | May detect the receiver and keyboard as an input device | Provided by Windows | Does not provide the K350-specific SetPoint controls | Useful for basic typing, but not a substitute for Logitech’s hotkey utility |
This comparison is intentionally conservative: Logitech’s published material identifies SetPoint for the K350, while the current Options listing does not show the model. Software branding and supported-device lists can change, so the product-specific support result is the deciding reference.

Common download and installation mistakes
- Using a generic “driver updater” website: Such sites can provide the wrong package or an altered installer. Search Logitech’s support hub by K350 or part number instead.
- Installing a newer app solely because it has a newer name: Options or Options+ is not automatically a replacement for SetPoint on a legacy K350.
- Ignoring the receiver: Reinstalling software cannot restore a receiver that is unplugged, damaged or no longer paired.
- Buying an unverified receiver: The K350 uses Logitech’s Unifying system, but pairing compatibility must be confirmed before purchasing a replacement receiver.
- Testing only the media keys: First confirm that ordinary typing works, then isolate hotkey configuration. This prevents a wireless fault from being mistaken for a SetPoint fault.
- Assuming a support-page absence means any old installer is safe: If Logitech no longer displays a K350 download for your system, retain the model and part number and contact Logitech support rather than downloading an executable from an unknown host.
When replacement hardware is the practical answer
If fresh batteries, a different USB port and Unifying re-pairing do not restore any key input, the keyboard, receiver or both may have a physical fault. A replacement Logitech K350 wireless keyboard is the direct option when the keyboard itself is damaged or missing. If the keyboard is still in good condition but the receiver is lost, a Logitech Unifying USB receiver may be appropriate; confirm that the specific receiver can be paired with the K350 before buying.
If ordinary typing works but one or two individual keys remain dead after cleaning around them and testing in more than one application, software is unlikely to be the complete explanation. SetPoint can assign actions, but it cannot repair a failed switch, liquid damage or a broken wireless component.
Safety checklist for a K350 download
- Use Logitech’s official support/download hub and a Logitech-hosted installer.
- Match the download to K350, not merely to a similarly named keyboard.
- Keep the exact Windows edition and release available when checking compatibility.
- Do not promise yourself that Options or Options+ will support the K350 unless Logitech’s current listing says so.
- Keep the receiver connected during pairing and restart Windows after installing SetPoint.
- Retain the installer and note which changes fixed the problem, so you can reverse or repeat them later.
For most K350 owners, the correct sequence is straightforward: identify the model, obtain SetPoint from Logitech’s support hub, install it, then troubleshoot power, receiver placement and Unifying pairing if the keyboard still does not respond. That sequence addresses both parts of the problem—the software needed for special keys and the wireless hardware path needed for any key input.
Quick Recap
As an optional shortcut, Outbyte Driver Updater can scan more than 100 devices for outdated, corrupted or missing drivers, show the current and recommended driver versions, install official drivers, and provide driver backup, restore and scheduled scans. It runs on Windows 11, 10, 8 and 7 and offers a two-day free trial with no credit card before a subscription; results vary, and no tool repairs every hardware problem.
