Huawei Pura X View is the better-documented premium wide-screen phone, while the Doogee Note60 W is still an announcement-stage device. Huawei publishes its OLED resolution, dimensions, camera sensors, battery ratings and HarmonyOS version. Doogee has so far confirmed only a 6.38-inch 90Hz wide display, approximately 8.4mm thickness, a 6500mAh battery and Android 17. Its price and most hardware specifications remain unpublished.
That difference in available information matters as much as the headline screen sizes. You can make a specification-based buying decision about the Pura X View today; the Note60 W comparison is necessarily provisional until Doogee releases complete specifications.

The Note60 W figures above come from IT之家’s 18 October 2026 report on the Doogee announcement. Huawei’s measurements and camera specifications come from Huawei Consumer China’s current product and specification pages. They are not equivalent levels of disclosure: a reported launch detail is not a substitute for a complete technical sheet.
Display: similar diagonal, very different certainty
Note60 W’s confirmed screen information
Doogee has described the Note60 W as using a 6.38-inch 90Hz “wide” display. The wider-than-usual shape is intended to move away from the conventional slab-phone proportion, but Doogee has not published the panel technology, resolution, pixel density, brightness, glass, touch-sampling rate, HDR support or screen-to-body ratio. It is therefore not possible to accurately label the panel OLED, Full HD, high-brightness or equivalent to Huawei’s display.

A 90Hz refresh rate should allow more fluid scrolling than a 60Hz panel when software and power settings permit it. It does not, by itself, tell you how sharp, bright, color-accurate or readable the screen will be. Those qualities await an official specification or independent testing.
Pura X View’s display specification
Huawei gives the Pura X View a 6.39-inch OLED panel with 2232 × 1320 resolution, a maximum 120Hz refresh rate and 406ppi density. The display uses Kunlun Glass. Huawei describes its shape as a 16:9.5 wide-screen ratio and gives a display area of 11,427mm².
The panel’s OLED construction should provide the contrast characteristics associated with self-emissive pixels, while the higher refresh-rate ceiling gives Huawei more headroom for smooth motion. Huawei’s product information also quotes a 6500-nit peak brightness and a 96.1% screen-to-body ratio. Peak brightness is a specified maximum rather than a guarantee that the entire screen will sustain that level in every mode or situation.
Which display is better?
On published evidence, the Pura X View wins decisively for image quality and measurable capability: it has a stated OLED type, resolution, density, protective glass, refresh-rate ceiling and brightness figure. The Note60 W may still offer a pleasant wide-screen experience, but its key display characteristics are unknown. Treat the two diagonals as broadly similar in size, not as proof that the panels are equivalent.
Shape, dimensions and everyday handling
Huawei’s unusually broad body
The Pura X View measures 144.1mm long, 87.0mm wide and 6.68mm thick, with a listed weight of about 201g. The 87.0mm width is the handling detail that most separates it from an ordinary phone: one-handed reach across the screen will be difficult for many users, even though the body is relatively thin.

That broad format can be useful for reading, split-screen work, maps and video controls. It also affects pockets, cases, car mounts and game controls. A phone that is only a few millimetres wider can feel substantially different when held vertically, so buyers should check the physical dimensions rather than relying on the 6.39-inch diagonal alone.
What is still unknown about Note60 W’s body
Doogee has disclosed only an approximate thickness of 8.4mm. It has not published the phone’s length, width, weight, materials, ingress rating, frame construction or port layout. The phone could be wider than a conventional model, but that cannot be established from the diagonal and the word “wide” alone.

The Note60 W is also thicker on the one published measurement than the Pura X View. Thickness by itself does not predict comfort: battery size, edge shape, camera bump and weight distribution can matter just as much. Do not buy a case or accessory based on assumed dimensions until Doogee releases an official drawing or complete specification sheet.
Handling decision
- Choose the Huawei form factor if you specifically want a documented broad body and can accommodate an 87mm-wide phone.
- Consider the Doogee only if you are comfortable waiting for its missing width, weight and accessory dimensions.
- For either model, compare the actual width with your current phone; diagonal measurements hide the grip difference created by a wide aspect ratio.
Cameras: Huawei is specified; Doogee is not
Pura X View’s four-camera arrangement
Huawei lists a 200MP optically stabilized main camera, an 8MP ultrawide-macro camera, a 50MP optically stabilized periscope telephoto camera and a 50MP front camera. The periscope unit supports up to 3.7× optical zoom, with digital zoom extending to 100×.
This hardware gives the Pura X View distinct focal-length options: the main camera for general scenes, the ultrawide-macro unit for expansive framing and close subjects, and the periscope camera for distant details. Optical image stabilization is specified for the main and periscope cameras, which can help reduce hand movement during still photography and some video modes. Sensor resolution alone does not establish final image quality; processing, lenses, autofocus and lighting remain important.

Note60 W camera information
Promotional imagery shows a three-lens rear layout, but Doogee has not identified the sensors, resolutions, stabilization system, autofocus behavior, video modes, optical zoom or front-camera hardware. The number of visible lenses is not enough to determine whether the phone has a useful ultrawide or telephoto camera; one or more modules could be depth or macro cameras.

Camera verdict
Huawei is the clear choice for buyers who need a known multi-camera system, stabilized photography and a documented telephoto lens. The Note60 W could be competitive on price or battery endurance once its camera sheet appears, but its current announcement does not establish that.
Software and app compatibility
Note60 W and Android 17
IT之家 reports that the Note60 W ships with Android 17. That places it in the conventional Android application framework as reported at launch. The announcement does not, however, state the processor, memory, storage, update duration, security-patch schedule, bootloader policy or regional software configuration.
Android version alone cannot predict long-term performance or support. Before buying, check Doogee’s final regional page for Google Mobile Services, update commitments, supported languages, carrier bands and whether the advertised Android version is available on every market variant.

Pura X View and HarmonyOS 7.0
The Pura X View runs HarmonyOS 7.0. Huawei promotes its own AI and ecosystem functions, and the software is designed around Huawei devices and services. App availability can vary by country, account region and the services a buyer needs.
HarmonyOS 7.0 is not automatically “better” or “worse” than Android 17. The practical question is whether your essential apps, banking tools, streaming services, workplace systems, wearable integrations and payment methods are supported in your market. Confirm those specific apps before purchase rather than inferring compatibility from the operating-system name.
Software choice in practice
- Prioritize the Note60 W if a standard Android app environment is your first requirement and Doogee confirms the services you use.
- Prioritize the Pura X View if you already use Huawei hardware and want its ecosystem features, provided your required apps are available in your region.
- Do not treat the newer Android version number as proof of longer support; neither the Note60 W update policy nor Huawei’s support period is established in the published information used here.
Battery capacity and what it does not tell you
Doogee reports a 6500mAh battery for the Note60 W. Huawei lists a 7000mAh typical capacity and a 6815mAh rated capacity for the Pura X View. Typical and rated figures are different measurement conventions, so they should not be compared as though they were identical labels.
The larger stated typical capacity belongs to Huawei, but capacity is only one part of endurance. OLED efficiency, refresh-rate settings, processor design, modem behavior, software optimization, brightness and camera use all affect runtime. Doogee has not published charging speed, charger inclusion or battery-cycle information, and Huawei’s figures here do not establish charging performance either.
For a long-lasting phone, wait for complete charging specifications and independent endurance testing. At announcement stage, the defensible conclusion is limited to the published capacities, not a guaranteed number of hours.

What remains unknown about the Note60 W
The missing information is substantial enough to affect a purchase decision. Doogee has not yet published:
- Exact length, width and weight
- Display resolution, panel technology, brightness and protective glass
- Processor, RAM and storage options
- Rear and front camera sensors, stabilization and video specifications
- Charging wattage and charger details
- Price, availability by country and carrier compatibility
- Android update and security-support policy
The existing Doogee Note60 product page should not be used to fill these gaps. It describes a different model with a 6.56-inch 90Hz IPS display, Android 16 and a 13MP rear camera. Those specifications do not establish anything about the Note60 W.
Which phone fits each buyer?
Choose Huawei Pura X View when specifications and cameras matter now
The Pura X View is the safer choice for a buyer who needs confirmed hardware. Its published OLED panel, broad but measured body, stabilized 200MP and periscope cameras, front camera and HarmonyOS version make the trade-offs visible before purchase. Its 87mm width and approximately 201g weight should be acceptable to you, and regional app support must be verified.

The Note60 W is worth watching if a 6500mAh battery, 90Hz wide display and Android 17 appeal to you, especially if Doogee later announces an attractive price. Waiting is important because the missing width, weight, processor, storage, camera hardware and charging details could change the phone’s value completely.
Do not choose on screen size alone
The diagonal difference is only 0.01 inch, but the phones are not otherwise interchangeable. Huawei documents a 16:9.5 OLED display and an 87mm-wide body; Doogee has disclosed a wide design without the measurements needed to judge its ergonomics. Display technology, camera hardware and app ecosystem are more meaningful decision points than the near-identical diagonal.
Questions to check before buying
- Confirm the Note60 W’s final width, weight, resolution and panel type on Doogee’s official regional specification page.
- Verify the Note60 W processor, RAM, storage and charging wattage rather than assuming they from the product name.
- Ask whether the three rear cameras have useful ultrawide or telephoto functions and whether optical stabilization is included.
- Check Google services, banking, streaming and work-app support for your country on either operating system.
- Compare the final prices, warranty coverage and network-band support for the exact regional model.
Bottom line
Huawei Pura X View is the stronger choice on currently verifiable specifications: its OLED display, 120Hz ceiling, measured wide body, documented multi-camera system and HarmonyOS 7.0 are all established. Doogee Note60 W offers an interesting alternative with a reported 90Hz wide screen, Android 17 and 6500mAh battery, but it remains an announcement-stage phone whose price and core hardware details are still pending. Until Doogee publishes those details, compare it as a promising concept rather than a fully specified rival.
